PaperDoll to compete in INDIE WEEK!
Remember our friends PaperDoll? The local New York City Indie band, who absolutely fucking rocks! Well, they are finally getting the recognition they deserve, by competing in INDIE WEEK IRELAND! The only American band in the competition, so show lots of support and purchase their album via Amazon below! And we know they aren't k-pop, but we first discovered their music through a local Korean TV station in NYC and we've been loving them since.
Check out their music and the official press release below. And also, if you're in the NYC area, I urge you all to check out one of their upcoming shows, I did and it was totally kick ass. Teresa has some of the most amazing vocals I've heard in a while.
New York City, NY June 11th, 2009: Local indie band, PaperDoll, selected to compete in INDIE WEEK IRELAND where they will battle it out for a shot at playing INDIE WEEK TORONTO.

The only American band accepted into the competition, the female-fronted 4 piece band from Brooklyn/Manhattan is described as Pat Benatar meets the Killers. PaperDoll gained local attention with the release of BALLAD NERD POP late last year and recently released a new video for single – Anything At All – which is airing on ImaginAsianTV and MTV IGGY. They can be heard on numerous Indie Films (FOG, The People I’ve Slept With, The Hayley Project) and TV commercials ImaginAsianTV’s Good Movie Night Promo.
