^ Uh yeah, an absence from the market doesn’t mean you’re not considered an artist anymore.
Only Asian artists do the “one album per year” thing. Tons of Americans take long breaks in between each album. They’re still considered IN the US music scene.
With that said, SM probably pulled her out of K-pop considering that she makes more money in Japan easily and that K-pop is full of girl/boygroups now.
I wished this was for some American song. -_- It’s better than nothing, I suppose. At least she’s getting to work with a big name, even if it’s for Japan… = _ =

i agree with everyone that says it`s not really benefiting her . it would definitely make a bigger impact if it was a US release , but even so , boa getting picked is pretty good . i`m not a fan of akon , but i`ll definitely listen to that remix for boa .
