Ok Sori Jail Time

Yesterday, Ok Sori was convicted of adultery against her husband Park Chul. Lucky for her though, she got an eight month suspended sentence, which means she won't be going to jail for her little hoeish behavior. In other words, she's on probation. Her opera singer lover, received a six month suspended sentence. No word yet on whether the case will go to a higher court that will actually put her in a jail.

Damn girl, if you're going to do it, at least don't get caught! We all know that her husband (soon to be ex-husband, I'm sure) did it out of bitterness and jealousy that someone else was SUPPLYING what he couldn't. I mean, the whole reason why she isn't doing the time (yet) is said to be because the court felt bad about Ok Sori's plea's about the "loveless marriage."

Hear this men? Give your woman what she wants and she won't have to go elsewhere! Simple as that! (haha... sexist, much?)

Wow, Ok Sori even made it to the Huffington Post!

Edit: She's also on BBC. Thanks to L L for the tip.

lol! oh! i didn’t bother with that, but even so its kind of worthless to heve that as a law and not go through with it bcuz no ones gonna bother if they know they could just get away with an xcuse like “Loveless marriage”

They’re just making an example of her… I feel bad for her.

Honestly, so many people cheat, it doesn’t even really matter anymore.

meeky's avatar

gawd! this is so lame! it’s not like she robbed a bank at gun point. eesh.

no avatar

honestly, i feel NO sympathy towards her.

Arie's avatar

if it was him cheating on her, i bet SHE would go to jail for being the one who didn’t provide her husband with enough ‘love’.

mia's avatar

Doesn’t matter if she goes jail or not, I’m sure she already feels like shit now that the whole world (Korea at least) knows what she did.

but on another note, that chick totally had her eyes done. such thick fold you have there ms. ok sori..

I think that’s the way it should be.  HOWEVER I also agree that if you keep ‘em happy at home they won’t need to run elsewhere.

♥rein@♥'s avatar

damn i got to remeber these if i marry a Korean guy

mana's avatar

If you want/feel the URGE to CHEAT, just DIVORCE the damn husband FIRST. Then it’s your life, you are free to sleep with as much men as you want. No one care if you’re a whorrrrrrrr or not.

But if you want to cheat but still want to keep the husband(?), and you’re caught red hand, then you need to face social criticism and jail time….

I think she should hire detectives to spy on the damn husband and collect his cheating data then sue him later for revenge..

travp16's avatar

Well that’s good. No jail time.

She shouldn’t even be in jail. Send the couple to therapy not waste space that is supposed to be for murders, theives, rapists, ect! That law is so unbelievably fucking retarded!

Are you freakin dumb?? @mama comment

Just get out of your house little kid, in the world, they have plenty of adultery, this is not just a problem of divorce, they have many complications.

WTF of this country of dickhead, korea sucks real time, going to jail because of cheating? they have many people cheat their wifes or husbands. Because she is a celebrity, it goes to the news, and now, all the country is against her, poor her.

This case is true to many marriage situations.  Because there is a lack of love in the marriage, one of them decided to look for love elsewhere.  Then again, love and marriage is a choice, a COMMITTMENT one chooses to make, and NOT based on emotions.  If you let your emotions take over the relationship, there will soon be a downfall. (If you don’t believe me, then do some research on relationships based on emotions and see how long they lasted.. for ex.: divorces, couples living together with kids and no intention of marriage…meaning committment, and etc.) Emotions does matter but only to certain extent.

So girls and boys, before you go ahead and say “I love you” to someone you think or FEEL you fell inlove with, remember you’re making a committment that is not just based on your emotions but decision for a lifetime (LIFETIME means ‘til death do you part).

Why am I saying this?  Because I’m telling the truth… and truth hurts, doesn’t it??

no avatar

BTW… i feel for her.  but there are consequences one needs to deal with.  This situation should not just be on women but on men as well.  People wonder why feminism existed??  Because women are always put on the spot and not men.  I’m not a feminist, but I know that this situation is wrong.

kpop_rubba's avatar

/\ It’s sad you talk about equality for men and women yet you don’t consider yourself a feminist. The reason you have the rights you have today as a woman is because of the feminists who came before you who fought for those rights.

Korea is a fucking misogynistic society. Tell Confucius to eat it and get with the times, assholes.

Oh my god, haha. :D Ok Sori even made it to the Danish newspapers! Ö I swear, I saw this in on one of those newspaper stands over here a few days ago!

~Loco_Roco~'s avatar

Well no jail…yay…but this isn’t something worthy of punishment. I mean there’s still murders all over the place who are roaming free but, meh. What do I know? lol
Btw divorce isn’t a fast process so it wouldn’t be the ideal way to completely solve this problem.

Bob DaBuilda?!'s avatar

this is so ridiculous. If I were the judge, I’d sentence the husband for wasting my time with such a case.

ALETA's avatar

ops!! she look so pathetic…poor woman

no avatar

you can go to jail if you cheat on your husband? Hell, 40% of american married couples should be in there then…BLAH.  I guess we would be seeing more killers and baby lovers out there…  Owell, crewing gum is a crime somewhere else soo I don’t care.
