Navi Refuses 1 Uhk Won Sexy Pictorial Deal
"I don't want to become famous through my looks, I want to become famous through music," said female solo singer Navi.
Navi has flatly refused a 1 uhk won (roughly $90,000 in USD) sexy pictorial deal that had been offered to her, saying that the sexy theme of the pictorial does not match the timbre or image of her music.
A spokesperson for Navi said, "She thought pretty hard about this offer before making a decision. After all, it is very advantageous for a solo female artist to have a sexy image. However, Navi has refused to promote this kind of image for herself until she has a solid reputation as a talented 'vocal singer' who sings well."
As you all may know, Navi has recently released her song "Wasteful Tears," featuring HyunA from 4minute. The concept for this fast-tempo song was "confident woman" - and undoubtedly, she is promoting this concept quite well, to turn down such an offer and also because she has succeeded to attract the attention of many netizens. She's really proved the extent of her vocal prowess through this song and she's already established herself as a "vocal singer who sings well" for me, so I don't really see why she declined this great offer.
