Sexy singing/dancing queen, Lee Hyolee has had a bit of a clash with the government. It was confirmed, that Lee had not paid her national taxes for over a year. Why would anyone do such a thing, right? Well, on her fan site, she made a cute little entry titled "Hello everyone," where she went on about how she didn't know how to pay taxes, and what would happen if she didn't pay those taxes. You're 28 years old - You should know how to file your taxes. If you don't, go look for a tax accountant and they'll do it all for you. During the interviews, she also mentions that her parents were the ones that took care of her taxes. The reason why she didn't get around to paying them this time, was because she had recently decided to become independent and try to live on her own without her parents help, only to realize that it was a lot more complicated than she thought. Lee went on saying that she now realized that what she does for a living is not an easy job (yeah, dancing around like a slut is indeed a very hard thing to do). She had apologized to the general public, fans and all, after the truth of the matter got out. Update: she has paid the overdue taxes as of today, November 6.
Where did Hyolee hide her money? We know it's not under a bed because it squeaks all the time.

Tax evasion isn’t that serious for celebrities in Korea I guess. If that happened in the US you’d see her going to jail.

She’s either stupid or ... wait she IS stupid!! How can you not know how to file for taxes? I mean if you seriously don’t know how, you can always hire someone else to do it & I’m pretty sure Ms. Hyolee can afford someone to do it for her!
