Lady Castle Gets Name Change, Yet Again

As reported earlier this month, Lady Castle starring Yoon Eun Hye was undergoing a name change - With votes of netizens, the most popular name was "Take Care of the Young Lady (ì•„ê°€ì”¨ë¥¼ ë¶€íƒí•´)". Although it looks like the Korean name of the drama, "ì•„ê°€ì”¨ë¥¼ ë¶€íƒí•´", is for keeps, the English name is to be changed once again. The new English name for this upcoming series will be "My Fair Lady."

As an addition to the cast, Yoon Ye Hee will be joining the team as the role of Yoon Eun Hye's aunt, Jo Mi Ok. She will be playing the role of a mother and aunt who is known to have gone under the needle many times and have an addiction to plastic surgeries, as she looks nothing like she used to in her childhood days.

There has been much news on the name change of the drama, but not many updates on the actual production of the drama itself. While I know all these name changes serve to make the drama perfect, I hope that, as much effort they are putting into finding the right name, the production crew is putting that same effort into making the drama itself worthwhile.

I don’t know what the big deal with english names is, but I liked lady castle. My fair lady is so played out. And why are Korean drama’s english titles so unoriginal? (well not all the time but ALOT of the time)

I don’t like any of the new names. I mean first they tell us it’s Lady Castle, and I’m sure tons of people liked it, and got used to it. I wish they kept that one. Or if not, they should choose one and let the audience get used to it, rather than changed again, because we aren’t pleased. But personally, I like Lady Castle.

Everyone likes “Lady Castle” pifff ~ Anyway, I like “My Fair Lady” a lot more than the previous 2 (I think it’s 2?) suggestions. But it’s a very cliche and not uncommon title.

Would they just get a start on the film instead of muddling around with the title?? i know that sometimes, the name of the drama may make or break it but they should focus on the cast, script and acting for now. Sides….i REALLY want to see YEH in action!!
