"Frozen Flower," staring Jo In Sung and Joo Jin Mo dominated the box office over the weekend, proving that everybody loves some good old sex.

Variety Asia reported:

Proving once again that sex sells, the very adult local film "A
Frozen Flower" dominated the South Korean box office over the weekend.

Released unusually on a Tuesday (Dec 30), pic grossed $6.53 million from a
1.27 million admissions on 500 screens for distributor Showbox.

Helmed by Yoo Ha ("A Dirty Carnival"), pic is a historical drama about a
love triangle between a king, his bodyguard and the king's wife and
attracted the highest rating available for a film release in Korea. Despite
that, it passed the million ticket mark in only four days, an all time
record, for 'adult-only' films in Korea.

I guess that means this sex-filled movie maybe worth watching. Although I only like the heterosexual kind, minus the plot, minus the story. Which means I won't be watching it.

besides sex and stuff... do people fight in the movie? I don't mean argue but like hand to hand beat the crap out of eachother fight? Sex doesn't sell for me... i need fighting!! ^_^ but if the story line is awesome and everything ends up making sense it would be cool to watch it.

No clue if I will watch it since I am not really a movie person and I don't even know what the storyline is. All I want to say is that Korea is starting to open up and be less conservative? I still remember how the scene where the main cast of Coffee Prince were making out created a lot of news. If I remember correctly, it wasn't shown on some channels or something? I guess this shows how things are changing in Korea~
