KIM BUM! <333 Holy crap I love that boy, he can act AND he is absolutely adorable. I remember watching him play the lead character’s teenage son in Rude Women back in the day, and now he’s all grown up. He’ll make an excellent Nishikado.

And Hyun Joong’s always struck me as more of the pretty and aloof Rui type, so he should do alright as that. I’ve never heard of Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon, though, but they look pretty enough to make a believable F4.

I’d be so excited about this if I didn’t hate the HYD storyline. The Japanese one was sappy and melodramatic enough, so we can definitely expect even more angst and cheese from the Korean version. Sorry Johnny, all the chicks will probably be too busy drooling over Hyun Joong and Kim Bum, so it’ll be a while before you can corner any

oh my seriously looking forward to this. i haven’t seen any of the lives and the manga got boring. hahhaa. this cast certainly is yummy though :D hmmmmm for lead female actors.. i think yoon eun hye would be pretty good. with longer hair. hahaha. or at least somewhat. i think the girl who played choonhyang in sassy girl choon hyang wouldn’t be bad either. although her age doesn’t really fit. i just want someone who can act.
i’m glad kim bum is in there. at least people with acting experience with things that aren’t like whatever movie superjunior tried to film. some of them can act…but…still…i’m kind of wishing the two unknowns had been shiwon and heechul just because i love them. haha. especially heechul.

wows.. awesome.. i actually liked the live hyd.. meteor garden killed though.. it dragged on for ages, and you eventually end up hating barbie who played makino. i hope they choose a good makino, not ugly but not the hottest girl but feisty.

i know hyori isn’t a good actor…but the whole feisty thing fits (: then again… i am biased towards hyori. one of the best kpop females out there. in my opinion. even girls acknowledge her hotness. haha.

Super Excited for a K-version of HYD. I loved the J-version. It should be good. More than likely more dramatic however.

hahaha planning on trying out the J version if this one is okay. the thought of oguri shun is rather tempting, but the overload of drama isn’t doing too much for me.

Hold on I think I saw parts of the japanese version of this show when i was in china. Was there a girl who has straight fringe and a guy with kind of curly hair and liked beating people up and the girl defended herself with mop and he bought her a dress something like that or is another show?

Kim Hyung Joong from SS501?! ZOMG!!!!

The reason this is such a big thing is because the manga (Japanese comic) supposedly is a really good story and was even made into an anime (along with a J-drama). I don’t really know since I was never interested in the story, but since it’s going to be a Korean drama (drama, right? Or is it a movie?) and my fave SS501 member is one of the cast, I’m definately going to read the manga and try to watch the anime if I like it enough.

@milangurl89- i know sohee’s cute and all(well for me) but why’d you have to mention that..ohno T_T lol i can’t sleep O_O

i so love HYD and i can’t wait to watch this version~ can’t wait to see more of Lee Min Ho..he looks unbelievably hot in that pic..
of course, hyun-joong and kim bum are the ones i’ll be stalking in this series. don’t know who’s Song Yu Bin though.. All i know is he’s qualified to be in F4 and he looks better than his counterparts in taiwan and japan.

i’m also one of the few who hasn’t seen the Jap or Taiwanese one. yes i know there’s a taiwanese one. but that’s about all i know. but i know they’re highly anticipated because the guys are usually, well, very drool worthy. other than that… i don’t know. i kind of never watched them because i was so sick of my friends drooling all over them…

lols i wonder how this one will turn out. I loved the taiwanese one a lot. The jap one was prettty good too. But i think this cast has the best faces. but i dont think the korean version will live up to the hype of the taiwanese verison. When that show first aired(i think it was like 6 years ago???) the 4 guys turn from nobody to instint stardom. Good old times.

honestly i never finished the drama, any version and i didn’t like the art in the manga.
it’s probably so highly anticipated because of it’s popularity in other countries and the fact that 4 attractive guys are in it.
I’ll try and watch the first episode if it’s subbed.

As long as they don’t stretch this out like 1000000 episodes like the Taiwanese version, I’m ok with it. And of course the girl better not look 12 like in the TW vers.
Living up to the Japanese version? Who knows. Can’t say I love this cast.

I watched both seasons so I obviously liked it, but I thought the Japanese live action was overly dramatic and dragged on and on (and on…). K-dramas tend to be longer and even more full of drama than J-dramas. Even with KHJ and Kim Bum, I don’t know if I can handle that, lol.

@ procrastinator I think you watched HYD season 2. Lol yes the curly hair guy likes to beat ppl or get others to do it for him.

anyways as long as it doesn’t stretch like the other versions which I started watching but never finished. plus only reason I watched the Taiwanese one was cause Vic Zhou & Vaness Wu was in it, then Jerry Yan was in 2nd season. The only good looking cast in the Japanese one is Oguri Shun, the less important roles in that one did have good looking guys too I have to admit ie. Handa Kento as Ryuji(ep 4 & 5).

the male cast seems like a good choice…Kim Bum!!! Kim Hyun Joong!!!...and the male lead is actually an experienced actor so thats good….

so far so good….but i hope they do not ruin it by casting a girl band member as makino..i will really hurt someone if they do….i dont care if they pick an unknown actress, just as long as she can play her role well and she is NOT a girl band member

i find it kinda funny that in all three versions the best looking guy is always Rui <3
maybe this time i will actually finish the damn drama…i couldnt make myself finish the jap or taiwanese versions…i just skipped all the way to the last ep just to see how it ended cause they became such a pain to watch LMAO
