Kim Nam Gil still unfit to return for filming
Earlier this week, we reported that Kim Nam Gil and Lee Yo Won had fallen off a horse while filming for MBC's Queen Seon Duk. Although Lee Yo Won has since returned to filming with just minor bruises, Kim Nam Gil remains hospitalized due to continuous pain.
The incident had happened on the 25th as they were steering the horse round a bend. Both Kim Nam Gil and Lee Yo Won fell to the ground after the horse had sped up suddenly without warning. Lee Yo Won has since returned to filming on the 26th although Kim Nam Gil was not so fortunate as he remains in hospital.
The original plan was for Kim Nam Gil to take a break from 26 - 27th and return to filming on the 28th. That did not happen as a representative for Kim Nam Gil ascertained again that he has not suffered any major fractures or anything and that he was just staying in hospital to speed up his recovery as he was still in pain. The latest plan now is for him to get discharged on the 29th and return to filming on the 30th.
With Kim Nam Gil playing a pivotal role in the drama as Bidam, the production team for Queen Seon Duk revealed on the 29th that they will be modifying the script to make it easier for him, which means less action scenes. But when he is well and able to move freely, they will revert back to the normal script.
Kim Nam Gil will be playing a decisive role in the latter episodes of Queen Seon Duk as he rebels against Deokman played by Lee Yo Won.
