>_< I love HYD, but I still can’t bear to watch the Korean version. Most because the female lead is…meh…and while Hyunjoong sure looks like Hanazawa Rui, he just seems way to much like a dry fish to me.

HJ acting is still awkward but the kiss is quite good for a beginner. It just that the majority of female actress in korea act passive when it comes to kiss scene.

the plot is going by a lot faster than i expected. usually korean dramas like to drag the plot on for a couple of episodes before actually getting to the real story.
hyunjoong plays the violin awkwardly >.<
but he is new to the whole acting thing so i’ll cut him a little slack. =) he always looks so spiffy in his scenes~! =)

What’s wrong with his violin playing? It’s fine, atleast he plays the violin where as in the japanese version he didn’t.

As for everything else I think hes doing fine. It seems you guys are looking for things to criticize him on. He is a singer not an actor, what do you expect him to be like, Jhonny Depp? Also if you knew his character You would understand his stiffness especially if you watch WGM.

She’s SOOO beautiful! But Kim Hyun Joong is SUCH a drab and boring Rui, it’s painful to watch…the drama’s excellent so far!

I don’t care how awkward and stiff HyunJoong is in the drama or real life. He’s still hot! Actually, I think his awkwardness at least in WGM is so cute :D

i watched this episode earlier in the morning.
damn, shes gone? she was the prettiest girl in the whole show :O!
and hyunjoong was a bit stiff in the kiss (along with his acting), but his hottness definately makes up for it ;D!

I like Lee Min Ho better.  Also, I prefer the Rui Hanazawa “Lei” from Meteor Garden.  He was the best the best.

In the Japanese version (I never watched Meteor Garden, though I probably will eventually) I really liked Rui more than Tsukasa, partially because MatsuJun just isn’t…that…hot…xDD. And Oguri Shun is like crazay so.

And, to be fair (EPIC SPOILERS), Rui IS supposed to have Asperger’s, which means that he WOULD be stiff and awkward. xD

I think the korean version will have more kiss/makeout scenes than the japanese version. Afterall in the manga, they almost have sex - that is makino and domyogi LOL. The korean one is following in more details with the manga.

loving this version of hyd…i’m liking hyunjoong’s portrayal of the character…he comes across quiet and awkward which i think is how its suppose to be. well, for me anyways. LOL.

as for the kiss…i wouldn’t mind lip locking with him any day. :D

okay, there’s no more reason for me to watch this drama. and hyun joong’s pathetic acting skill doesn’t help.

Oh well. I haven’t started watching the drama yet, ‘cause I’m waiting for it to finish. I don’t like watching an episode and having to wait one whole week for the next one, ‘cause I’ll have to watch it all over again to remember what happened and blah. Oh well, do I feel sadder than sad now?

i actually thought he played his character very well since his personality is totall opposite of JiHoo’s
people need to look at all aspects and not compare Yoon JiHoo to the other actors because different versions might be slightly different
