Am I the only one who thinks there are so many girl groups now in the spotlight? It’s like there’s this tense competition between all girl groups to be in the spotlight…

i love big mama, but can they live up to them? i hope theyre talented..im trusting jyp.

first getting wonder girls noticed by REAL exposure aka the jonas brothers…who are actually FAMOUS ATM. unlike se7en who has the washed up star lil’ kim featuring on his song, and boa with sean garrett. whoever he is.
then there’s 2AM/2PM..most notably 2PM with all their wins and current popularity
also, there’s the WonderGirls-Esque. Group “SISTERS” debuting in China.
and now a new girl group with vocal capability..
i cant wait for their debut!!!

and also rain’s trainee….
to think that rain WAS jyp’s trainee…den he became a star. den he became a CEO, den he became a mentor to finally debuting his own trainee….

Don’t get me wrong, I love JYP and all his successes, but i can see now how we are so biased towards JYP. Lol, we anticipate a NEW girl group from JYP but we DETEST other girl groups that are about to form. So maybe we should think critically before we talk.. Anyways

Not a fans of any current JYP group. I hope his new group bring something new to the table. I still, to this point, don’t know why he send 2am to Cube. I think if we talk about talent, 2am is the most talented group from JYP and they also the group with the better look. 2am is the victim of wrong marketing.

LOL do you seriously think being featured with jonas brothers is ‘better’ than Lil Kim or Sean Garrett ??? realizing that WG’s supposedly targetting tweenies just make me feel, well, retarded =( coz i like them… a lot LMAO and they’re the only JYP’s group i like, too.

Another girl group? Can’t say I’m excited. But we all know JYP’s a genius, so hopefully he’ll come out with something different… and GOOD.

you guys are overrating JYP. he got lucky with the JB offer for WG. but what happened to his other acts? why wasn’t he able to take J.Lim or G-Soul (who actually have great vocal talents) anywhere? He took them nowhere, and he even abandoned Min who did god-knows-what while she was in the states.

well i think everyone no matter who has their own hits and misses…JYP happened to have a fair enough amount of hits and successes therefore, i believe that this girl group would succeed along with 2am/pm, Wondergirls, and hopefully in the future G-soul…no offense, but i think min and j-lim lack charisma…even though min can dance and lim can sing, IMO they don’t have the IT factor that makes them attractive

ugh JYP is so overrated. People seem to forget his many failures and only focus on Rain, WG, and 2PM (as much as i l like em tbh they only got big recently b4 everyoen deemed them as a failure as well) out of the tons of trainees and stars he swore would hit it big (Min, G-soul, w/e that other girl is and etc) Also for a guy who has an “Eye” for talent why did he pick sohee…As much as i hope to have a Girl band with the talent of Big Mama, i see this group being forgotten by jyp like a lot his other projects.

jyp is amazing. if this is a female ballad group, i’d really like to see how they turn out. there aren’t enough ballad groups these days.

I agree with #21,
alot of ppl are biased.
Some people here are real hypocrites.
When SM announced Crystal
everyone hated the idea.
Now it’s JYP announcing their
new group, and yall say yay.
I’m not saying everyone is, but
some people are.

JYP has given us the Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, Rain, etc. I can’t wait.

This year is like Girl Group year, next year probably Boy Groups.
KPOP just has so many groups out…but I dont really mind as long as the songs are good. But this year seems to have the toughest compeptition for girl groups because most of the groups are getting a lot of attention then compared to 2007 where it was mainly WG and SNSD only. This year there’s 2NE1, After School, Tara, 4 minutes, Jyp 3 member vocal group, SM five member group, etc…Plus exsisting girl groups like SNSD, Kara,  Brown Eyed Girls…But I have to admit that I’m a little JYP bias. I tend to support anyone from JYPE the most. I trust Jyp and believe that he will not disappoint…well i hope so…But in reality, I think the only groups that might last are 2NE1, Jyp’s group, SM ‘s group, and maybe 4 minutes cuz those three companies always dominate, it sucks for the others, but that’s how it always is.

What about G-soul and Min? I feel bad for them because they’ve been training for so many years and still have gotten nowhere….and 2AM is barely noticed, they’re overshadowed by the more popular 2PM. Let’s see how this new girl group will do….It seems JYP either succeeds or fails..no inbetween.

I’m really excited and I hope this group won’t let my hopes go to waste, but I’m sure when they say Big Mama they won’t use that term so easily lol! I can’t wait to hear the amazing talent!
