JYP: Not Always Successful

JYP has become huge with the stars he created, from G.O.D to Rain and now Wonder Girls. But has he always been this successful? Park Jin Young recently went on MBC 'Goldfish - Radio Star', and discussed a few singers that only had one or two hits and disappeared.

Park Jin Young has many names to put forth when it comes to success, but there are some that have been put under a blanket. A few singers that came about under his name are Noel, Jinju, Rang Hyun Rang Ha (랑현랑하), and One Two. Most of you are probably thinking, "Who are these people?", and you're right, they are practically nobodies. Park said, "Of all of these singers, I thought that One Two would probably be the biggest hit." He also said that out of all the albums he's created, One Two's first album was his favorite. "I wrote all the lyrics and arranged the entire album. All the songs were of stories that would happen in a nightclub and they were so realistic, I thought that it would be an automatic hit."

One of the MCs of the show, Yoon Jong Shin, asked Park what the reaction for the album was like. Park replied, "It was deemed the worst album of the year." Another MC of the show, Kim Gu Ra, went on to asking Park why people didn't like it. Park replied, "We realized after making the album that, not that many people go to the club like my group of friends do. So I'm thinking that they just couldn't really relate and understand the songs." The show ended with Park talking about how music makes him happy and all that good stuff.
