JYP's failure Joo is officially desperate for attention.
Riding the coat tails of her seniors, the whiny voiced singer slapped on a mop and performed her rendition of the Wonder Girls latest hit, So Hot on the 6th. Unfortunately, Joo's only talent is ruining perfectly good music. Ok, so maybe Jewelry's One More Time was a bad example, since that song is awful to begin with, but you get the point right?
Is this some kind of sick marketing ploy where consumers are force fed the very antipode of Joo's image? The very last thing anyone would like to see One More Time is Joo performing So Hot. Unless of course you have some sick fetish with midgets, in which case you need help.

You know, she does have a contract with jyp. Just because she’s not that popular, doesn’t mean that they’re going to drop her so easily. A good sum of money has been invested [training, surgery, bla bla…], so she’s here to stay.
At least for a little longer. They’ll probably keep pushing her until she dies of exhaustion.

Greentea I was wondering the same thing. Why do they keep singing each other’s songs? Is it that they can’t come up with their own songs? I have seen this on American shows but it’s usually when someone is getting some type of life time award and folks are singing the person’s songs as a tribute to the performer receiving the award.
As for this girl, she’s trying and I give her props for that.

why so negative? joo’s voice is pretty unique, although probably not suited for “so hot”. but she can outsing most of wonder girls any day. right now, the industry is just not very welcoming of new solo female singers… i think we desperately need a boA comeback to revive the girl power in kpop : )

^ because there are girls in the usa that are her age or less doing it here it doesn’t mean people condone it. 18 is the age of adulthood and doing all that stuff at that age as a supposed role model(since she was in the limelight) is very very immature
