This may be a light sentence in comparison of the other two, but considering he was indicted only for the use of drugs on just two occasions and that he willingly plead guilty and was compliant with the court—he was judged pretty fairly.

Also, this article fails to mention that the other two indicted with harsher sentences were for reasons of harsher crimes including illegally trafficking, financing, and selling the drugs.

It’s pretty crazy how you can get charged for using drugs. It does help keep the streets clean.. but i’m not judging him for it. if they get those sentences for light drugs, i wonder what you get for harder ones

I once said that he lost his best drug, which is life. Poor him but he definitely deserves a punishment for doing drugs. Drugs are only a harm for yourself and others, bleh.

well, hopefully he will get his career back on track after a couple of years…it is shame since he such a good actor and this had to happen at the prime of his career

i think cause he owned up to what he did that may be why he got a lighter sentence, that and he is already suffering because of his career.

i think celebrities tend to think that they are invincible once they reach stardom…
like everything is covered for them and that they are entitled to special privileges and immunities, in this case with drugs and the law…
They need to figure out that they too are just like us non-celebrities and that they too are equally susceptible to get caught for doing unlawful “deeds”...
But other than bashing Joo Ji Hoon and others, I pray for him that he’ll find balance and stability in his life and find successes in the future…no good in condemning someone for a mistake they made in life…I think during these times, we need to support them (not saying we should support Joo Ji Hoon doing drugs…but support through love and compassion).
