Jo In Sung is Leaving
Jo In Sung is Leaving for his mandatory army service. He held a last fan meeting in Japan before he left, and used the theme 'Thanks a Million.' During his trip in Japan he spent 3 days in Osaka and 5 days in Tokyo. During the final fan meeting with much applause, Jo In Sung appeared with a guitar and sang Hot Potato's 'Thought' for his fans. He continued with a look at his past 29 years, from childhood until now, with a picture slide. Jo In Sung also sang Sung Shi Kyung's 'Two People' and claimed that "These two songs are my favorite songs to sing. I had to practice a lot though because I don't really sing that well, I hope it went well."
Jo In Sung personally met with all of his fans, shook hands with them, and briefly greeted all of them. Jo In Sung and his fans took cards and pictures and put it in a time capsule shaped like a guitar case. He said that "All of your cards and pictures through our separation of 2 years will become a great support for me." His fans also gave back by bringing in a famous Japanese singer, KAN, to sing 'Love Will Win' which gave Jo In Sung a nice surprise. For this gesture, he tried to keep a straight smiling face, but was so touched that he cried in the end.
As the end of the fan meeting drew near, Jo In Sung announced that "Whenever it became time to end a fan meeting, I always felt sad and empty. However, this time I know what you will all be waiting for me and constantly supporting me so it is not as sad as before. I will not waste these next two years and will come back as a better Jo In Sung." Jo In Sung also plans to hold a fan meeting in Korea at the end of March before he leaves.
Sigh. I will miss this man, I wonder how Sung Yuri feels? He's a good actor, I first saw him in New Nonstop around 8 years ago and I can honestly say that he has talent. Starting out as a model and rising to become one of the top actors in Korea, he has become well known in Japan and other countries as well. I hope he comes back safely and produces more great works! Good luck in the army.
