To all you ignorant people who think 20 is old. Well please keep in mind the context. This is Korea your talking about not the west… Firstly, Its looked down upon in Korea if you dabble in relationships while your in school, as education should be considered priority, not the opposite sex. Thus naturally something like even a kiss, is borderline no-no. Top that off with korean culture - we bow instead… and any skin touching is considered highly intimate form of skinship. So a kiss is actually a hundred times more meaningful in Korea than say.. in the US. Therefore its usually more common from college age onwards.. or a really ongoing relationship. FINALLY, shes a bloody IDOL for crying out loud. She spent nearly her entire teenhood training to become a singer. Its obvious that if you commit like that, your gonna have little to no time being a normal teenager or even get to the point of kissing blah blah… Just had to get that off my chest ...

agree with 25, korean’s culture, actually asians in general are much more conservative compare to the western culture. Although the new generations are beginning to become more westernized in their values and behaviour, having a relationship at a young age is a big deal and parents would often interfere with it. I do believe a lot of the idols should have experienced one way or another puppy love relationships. they don’t mention or sometimes even lie about it simply because they want to keep their fans happy. which is understandable consider how crazy some fans are. even if my favourite idol tells a lie about this I’m totally cool with it. anyhow I have neutral feelings towards Seungyeon, but now I give her more respect for telling the truth.

all i get is a boyfriend for a confession. sheesh.

kjpoplover .....I agree with you 100% .......I am living in the US but I havent had my first kiss yet bc I value a relationship seriously ....I dont just give freely if there is no meaning…...ANd I am not ugly or anything…....My friends tease me for it all the time but I dont care…... . I rather get my ED first…..I like our traditions….Westerners dont value stuff like this so that is one of the reasons why they get divorces alot.
