Han Ji Hye and her New Man
Actress Han Ji Hye is in love. Her love interest, Mr. X, is six years her senior and is a prosecutor (can't get over Lee Dong Wook in East of Eden?) at District Public Prosecutor's Office. The new couple was spotted climbing Mt. Bukhansan on a mountain hike on the 20th. Who is this man who stole Han Ji Hye's heart? He is a Seoul National University graduate and a promising talent at the Attorney General's Office. They met at a church meeting earlier this year, about three months ago, making their new relationship still fresh and lovey dovey.
Their date on the 14th was also something worth mentioning as the two were spotted sealing their coupledom on White Day at a cafe. Prosecutor Mr. X carried a bouquet of flowers and a gift for Han Ji Hye and the two were seen gazing into each other's eyes for all to see.
Even though the two people met mainly on Friday evenings or Saturdays in the afternoon, they seem to be very much in love. An acquaintance of the couple said that they try their very best to make time for each other even though Han Ji Hye was busy with filming a drama (East of Eden) and it was hard for Mr. X to make time in his busy week but still this source confirms with his own eyes that they met at least once over the weekends.
Han Ji Hye has said that they did not make an effort to try to hide their relationship. She is now in Firenze, Italy learning shoe designing for her collaboration with Jinny Kim.
On the 30th, in a phone interview with the Chosun Ilbo newspaper, she said that its a great feeling that they met and hopes everyone wishes them well. She also mentioned that they met earlier this year at a Bible study group and that they have found something special in their lives within each other. A friend of Han Ji Hye said that they are each other's safe havens and the power of love gives them a shoulder to lean on. Even though they are exhausted from daily life, they depend on each other to make them the happiest.
This new relationship is causing a stir since her last relationship with Lee Dong Gun in My Boyfriend is Type B in early 2006. There were speculations that they were dating in real life after photos of them hanging out in real life surfaced right after the release of the movie. Some speculated that the whole relationship was a publicity stunt to promote the movie. They denied that they were dating but later admitted that they were on their own homepage sites. They broke up early last year. Irony that the same paparazzi chose to release these pictures so soon after pictures of Lee Dong Gun dating Cha Ye Ryun just last week.
