The only problem is .. international fans need to get this in their heads… talent doesn’t matter much when you can sell more albums and have more CF deals. SNSD makes money for SM… so therefore they spend money on the girls. If you’re smart you would understand that.

Okay I finally listened to the whole thing. Hmmm…. it’s so different from SNSD’s first album. I didn’t expect this, it’s a mix of a bunch of sounds. I like it… just didn’t think SNSD would do this. I don’t know what to expect for dances and costumes…

they finally realize that everyone LOVES repitition. that’s why wonder girls’ songs always get people. “tell me, tell me, t-t-t-t-tell me…” “i’m so, so, so, so hot, hot!” “i want nobody, nobody but you”, etc. even kara caught on too, “if you wanna pretty, everyone a pretty” (or whatever the lyrics are)
and now, “gee gee gee gee gee…”

It’s a new sound for SNSD for sure and it’s exciting. I’m glad to see them back with an upbeat song like how it was with ITNW. On the hind sight, if you don’t like Gee there’s four more songs on the album with different styles so really there’s much more diversity this time for their mini album. I wouldn’t say anything about SNSD sticking to bubblegum pop until I heard the rest of the album and according to the track descriptings it’s not going to be all bubblegum pop. I can’t wait for their comeback! Hopefully they perform Him Nae with Gee because I loved Haptic Motion.

Please don’t bring CSJH into this. When will you fans understand seriously. If you want them to have more recognition, it’s not going to happen by picking on SNSD. Get out there and buy their albums - Korean and Japanese, etc. Do something positive that will actually help them in the long run.

Hahaha, no I understand. And I think it’s great that you like it and you’re not bashin em. But I was agreeing that you definitely noticed a pattern in Korean hits. They do like repetition, whether it be in the chorus or just one word of phrase. I guess it’s just a thing… Either way, I’m sold.
