if you would take the time to watch their university performances, or any other forms of public performance e.g. nightclubs, you would realize that they hv never lipsynced a performance.
yes, sometimes their MR is loud during the chorus parts, but for sure their mics are on and you can hear them sing live loud and clear, especially during their individual lines.

youre also not getting the point im trying to make.  when an artist is at a location with people physically there watching them they should sing live, plain and simple.  whats so hard to understand?  You guys can bring up all the excuses you want but in the end, lip syncing is the act of pretending to sing.  so when you lip sync you are faking your performance, that we can all agree on right? lets stay on that subject.

what world are you living in?  we, are the consumers and the artists ultimately are a product put out by their company to make money.  you better believe we, the public control them.  let me fill you in on a little secret.  its the consumers who make or break an artists career.  Another thing, people work hard to earn their money and if they pay to see an artist perform in person is it not to much to ask for a live performance?  if it is then whats the point of seeing the artist in person?  you might as well just listen to their cd or watch their MV if that’s the case.

please tell me you are not serious?  if the artists is bad at singing then maybe they should choose another profession to get into. i mean what about all the artists out there who have real talent but are struggling to make it in the industry because they are being overlooked for someone who fakes their performances?  What about the artists who are out there working their asses off performing live day in and day out?  basically you are slapping them in the face you do know that right?

The two of you have no problem when artists lip sync.  i get it.  I on the other hand do have a problem with it.  For myself, when an artists sings live in front of people they get mad respect and show their true talent.  When they decide to lip sync i feel that they are trying to cheat their fans by giving them a fake performance.

alright haku im not even goin to argue with u since we obviously have different values in terms of singing and lipsyncin. u believe lipsyncin is a fake performance and i believe it’s not a big deal as everyone puts it to be. for me as long as i’ve seen an artist tat has the capabilty to perform live with great or good vocals im satisfied with tat, so for me they dont hav to constantly perform live, they can lipsync all they want, because i already no of their capabilties. but i dont think they’re cheating their fans, because as a fan u dont jus lik them for their looks or live performances, u lik them more because they entertain you, they make u happy, true fans will always like them and will never sway away with them mere reason of lipsyncing. i respect those who sings live but that doesnt mean i’ll automatically deem those who are lipsyncing as a bad singer or a horrible performer/performance. i respect ur opinion and i hope u respect mines, let keep it friendly.

haha that’s what they get.  Everyone says that many singers lip sync but how many artists now a days really do. Dont mention the newbies as they have yet to fully establish themselves in the business as SNSD. Wouldnt you think that after years together in a 9 member group they would realize the difficulties in the mic system, so why dont they bring their own mics as backups.  If you are going to lip sync then basically your only purpose is to look ‘pretty’
Who cares if they have to sing and dance at the same time. There’s freaking nine members! each person probably sings two measly line and then the hook takes up half the song. is it really that ‘difficult’? there are plenty of other artists that sing live, dance far better, and actually have real lines to sing
i neither like nor dislike SNSD but if they are unable to perform their best no matter the situation then they are not taking their roles as ‘idols’ very well. the same for all the other artists unless they have a legitimate reason as highly difficult dance routines or the mics literally breaks in their hands, lip synching shouldnt be treated nonchalantly
