An artist lipsynchs at one point in their career. Most of these small perfs don’t have sound systems and such to accomodate artists. Even artists from companies like JYP where live singing is their selling point or whatever lipsynch for small perfs sometimes like the whole WG incident last time. I think the whole SNSD lipsynching business is bullshit since they’ve been singing live for all major perfs and more aside for some certain small perfs at unis and such since the middle of “Girls Generations” promotions. Only those with a full complete bias would bring up the whole SNSD lipsynchs all the time crap up and how they can’t sing live. Hm, need we take another visit to their MRs? Oh wait, antis still wouldn’t see the truth in all their hatred.

People need to stop complaining about the whole lip syncing stuff. It’s already been proven who can sing and who can’t with the whole… I forgot what it was called. The thing that people were obsessed with for awhile… the whole bringing out the singers voices and not the backround and music thing.  I saw it on youtube a few times. Anyway, who cares. The video was cute. Most pop groups lipsync at some point… even it’s only for a couple of lyrics here and there. Especially when they’re dancing a lot. Stop complaining. If you don’t like ‘em don’t buy their stuff or read articles about them. It’s like self abusing lol.

Usually you can here the recorded underneath the live audio and then just recorded stuff. And I’m not just talking about SNSD. You actually think somebody can dance a whole song without getting out of breath and it showing. If so that person must the healthiest lungs and endurance ever on the face of the earth lol.

@137 Shaun is definitely my hero, the writers here need to use a bit more originality in their so called “humour”. 

Anyway, that save was really cute! I agree that even though they were lip syncing, they tried to cover up the mistake by making it entertaining… and that’s the whole point of a performance, for entertainment. They’ve done plenty of performances before to show that they can sing live, so it’s not like they can do it for every single perf they do. Who can really be stuffed hooking up 9 mics for a small event. And yes, many other celebs have lipsynced before. DBSK lipsynced rising sun in last year’s dream concert, but everybody knows they have talent.

I don’t see anything wrong with lipsyncing at the place where the sound systems are not ready.  FTIsland has to fake plaing their instruments most of a time because of the electrical and sound systems.
The hedious thing in the music industry these days should be those artists who sampling or copying the music and claim it as their original works.

Lip syncing is not so bad when you know that they actually have the ability to sing it like that live. They have an off day, you know, some of the members may not feeling well or their voice is not at their best. It happens, they are only human. Even singers who sing for a living can get sick and lose their voice. So chill, people. At least it is entertaining (isn’t that the whole point of listening to music??). I think SNSD set a good standard. They can sing and their personality are not bad (personally i think so). I’ve met them close up in real life and even when they are by themselves in a foreign country, they are all chatty and cheerful.

Oh…um…hmmm. Not a fan of the lip sync and being an avid concert goer I beg to differ that “all groups do it”, I have been to many concerts including a couple of BiRain’s in which there is some pretty “rough dancing” going on yet even though there are back up vocals on a track the live singing is undeniable.
If I’m at a live performance I want just that, if I wanted complete lip-syncing I wouldn’t bother paying for tickets and just watch the MV at home instead. But to each their own, if the fans enjoy it then it doesn’t matter and if you don’t enjoy it no one is forcing you to be a fan.
