Since when is Lip -syncing cute? All it proves is that they are not talented. They weren’t real choreography so why do they need to lip- sync? Ok so they can’t dance, they can’t sing and their supposed “beauty” is way overrated. They are so plain looking. Next group please K-pop and give me some actual eye-candy this time, not grown women trying to appeal to perverted ajusshis by starving themselves so they have no breasts, acting and dressing like 12 year-olds with fake plastic voices.

23: Shut up, hater.  They can obviously sing live; they do it all the time.  But of course, all singers and all groups have an accompanying tape behind them, allowing them to perform their solos only instead of having to sing every part of the song.  It’s always been done.

You do know that sometimes artists are forced to lipsynch due to the crappy sound system right? And puhleez. DBSK lipsynchs for their performances as well and does that mean they’re untalented? Hell no. They’re one of the best live performers in Korea.

They’ve proven they can sing live before but there are times when they need to give their voices a break.  In addition, you can tell their sound system was messed as half the mics weren’t even working when they wanted them to be.

@21 I’m just writing how I really feel about these girls and the incident.  There is no money involved with SM.  I just genuinely like these girls and think they are adorable…

I bet that antis and haters going to bash those girls for lipsycing..
They aren’t and won’t be the first group/artist to lipsycin…so get over it.
The girls actually live sing in music programs…And those who say that they aren’t talented why don’t you judge yourselves first. I think you don’t have 1/4 of the talent they have (@23. StunningDeviation).

This incident wouldn’t have been embarrassing if they were singing live (or not singing along with a very loud backing track).

I’ve seen similar things happen to Beyonce before, but it didn’t really do anything, because there was no pre-recorded voice on tape repeating itself over and over again. Or the same thing with Charice.

I’m not putting down the girls though, I have seen and heard some of their actual live performances, and they were pretty good! I was especially impressed by Tiffany’s recent solo performance; I had no idea that they’ve been working on their vocals!

...people do know that when they aren’t in major events they don’t sing live right? o_O This is almost a non-issue already.
And the difference with WG’s and this incident was that Sunye tried to play it off like no sound came out of the speakers just because they had no mics and not because the sound technicians messed up and accidentally played the instrumental instead of the real song. While SNSD was very open about the fact that they WERE lipsynching. Because it’s a normal thing in non-broadcasted events and they don’t need to hide it.

What was adorable was how they recovered from it, NOT the lipsynching per se.

Obviously sunmi jjang is still very much butthurt about something that happened months ago.

I go on allkpop everyday but I have to admit, this blog is very biased towards SNSD. I think Johnny DOES like WG but clearly not as much as SNSD.
And let’s put it in a positive perspective. Bloopers are darn hilarious and cute. I don’t think he was trying to insult WG there but I do know what you mean and feel that it’s not fair :\
