One 3 min song divided into 9 parts! What the hell kind of talent does that show? NO TALENT NO SKILL. They have a chance to catch their breath yet they still can’t show any stage presence with their stone faces.

Compare the performances of SNSD and WG.  WG performances are rarely perfect, and they show their weak vocal talents from the beginning of the performance.  SNSD almost always has good, perfect performances.  WG just has catchier songs, but SNSD has more TALENT. BUT love them both.

I just thought the song was catchy because i could care less about SNSD songs, thier so sugar coated like frosted flakes.

did you even watch the performance? tell me was sung by 5 girls from snsd, not 9… and seohyun took both sohee’s and sunmi’s parts and still sounded amazing. stop trying to find excuses.

i personally don’t want snsd to do another wg song. wg songs may be catchy, but they really don’t show off the girls’ vocal skills.  if not for the background tracks, the songs would sound flat and boring. i actually want to see wg sing more ballads. they sound a lot better than when they sing tell me or so hot. either way.. please no more collabs. i like the two groups the way they are now.

and i find it really funny that people think snsd is too cute. they’re teenagers. they can’t exactly be sold as “sexy”... i actually think it’s more inappropriate for jyp to allow sohee dance to my body’s like woah when she was 14.

snsd doesn’t need to ride on wg’s coat tails. every single one of snsd’s songs have hit no.1, while only 2/6 or so songs of wg have hit no.1. and while tell me and so hot are huge hit songs that a lot of people have heard, wg themselves aren’t that popular. just look at the fan cafes on daum and the cd sales. snsd has 2Xs more fan cafe members and sold 2Xs more cds.

now that i think about it, i don’t think the performance is going to happen. just because fans want it, doesn’t mean sm is going to allow it. but at least this give something for antis to bash about. just keep feeding them negative energy. lol.

In my personal opinion, Girls’ Generation shouldn’t sing and ruin Wonder Girls’ songs.
Everyone has different opinions, but in my opinion, belting out and singing high notes out loud aren’t the ONLY DEFINITION of talent.
Singers should be able to concentrate their feelings into their songs and express it well, but honestly speaking, Girls’ Generation ruined “Tell Me” with their style of singing.
Don’t get me wrong, all singers have different ways of singing, but I just think Girls’ Generation’s version of “Tell Me” didn’t go ANYWHERE NEAR Wonder Girls’ performances on “Tell Me.“
Even though Wonder Girls always missed notes, they expressed the song well, making the audience want to dance and sing along, WHILE enjoying the performance themselves (this is clear esp. in their performances at different universities).
I was also one of A LOT of people that wanted to tell the Wonder Girls to reach the right notes, but after Girls’ Generation’s performance, I finally understood what JYP said when he mentioned, “Tell Me isn’t a song to show off your singing skills or anything, but it’s a song you have to sing without so much strength in your voice.“
(And coming from my own experience, it’s EASIER to hit the right notes when you’re belting out, but HARDER when you sing lightly like the Wonder Girls in “Tell Me”)
That statement was definitely proven when Girls’ Generation performed “Tell Me” ‘cause their vocals and face expressions killed it, resulting in no stage presence.  Besides, they all looked like they were having such a hard time singing the song, cringing everytime they had to reach high notes (and tiffany’s “R&B;“ style of singing. pfft.)
My comment was too long, but you get the point I’m trying to make : Girls’ Generation shouldn’t sing Wonder Girls’ songs because they’ve already ruined one, and they WILL ruin them.

1. they have talent
2. WG songs are easy to sing and same with their choreography, its all on the basics
3. SNSD can do anything WG do, but better

Tell Me is popular, its catchy…when it’s so popular why didn’t it get any fame? Why would people want to buy their album when only one song is catchy?! Ummmm…......I visit Daum everyday and I have friends and relatives in Korea and Wonder Girls IS more popular than Girls’ Generation.
It’s ironic, because yes, Wonder Girls have lower record sales.
I admit that Wonder Girls have low record sales despite their popularity, but Girls’ Generation sold more records because of their repackage album (but they still DID sell more).
And Wonder Girls DID sing ballads.
They’ve sung “Wishing On A Star” during their “Tell Me” days and they’re promoting “This Time” with “So Hot” right now.
With Girls’ Generation, the only people that sang ballads were taeyeon, tiffany, seohyun and jessica. 
Taeyeon’s song wasn’t even Girls’ Generation’s song, it was a drama O.S.T.
If you look at all the songs Girls’ Generation performed as a group, they’re all only bubbly, girly, baby songs ; you can’t find any ballads.

SNSD definately destroyed… the Tell me song. Aaargh my stomach aches every time I watch them performing.

WG isn’t perfect but at least they have presence and good taste.

And if you want to talk about popularity, go ahead but please do some research first.  For example, based on music shows such as Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo, and MCountdown…WG’s Tell Me got over 10 awards while SNSD’s Girls’ Generation song for about what, 4-5 awards? 

As for fans wanting SNSD to do So Hot and if they happen to perform that song, it’ll proved that SNSD songs are so crappy that SNSD themselves don’t even want to sing it lmao.

I’m not a big fan of either girl group, but I have to admit the shameless behavior of certain members of SNSD annoys the shit out of me. If all crazy SNSD fans have forgotten, WG did not do too bad during the special stage. Even Sohee sung decently, which goes to show how much professional skill it takes to sing Kissing You.

Though weak vocalists, WG have better stage presence as stars than SNSD; the latter looked like they were trying way too hard on stage, and many of them didn’t even smile. IMO, the reason SNSD sang well was because they had minimal promotions and activities going on at the time. Plus, they let all of the mediocre to bad vocalists of the group either skip out (Yoona, Sooyoung) or rap (Hyoyeon, Yuri). I have to give SM props for playing their strengths. But I’ll never be a SNSD fan.

I think both groups did pretty good. I wouldn’t mind hearing SNSD singing Tell Me, then again I wouldn’t mind having Wonder Girl sing one of SNSD’s song either…even with the bad vocals, WG had more energy on stage. SNSD’s voices were decent overall, but they really still lack the energy.

I think its pretty funny how people blame the songs, record sales, and everything else on the artists.  Artists dont get to make the decision as to what they want to sing and what not.  They dont get to chose what concept they want to be as.  SM and JYP Ent. make those decisions.  Im pretty sure not all 9 of SNSD members wanted to do to cute bubbly concept.  Is it their fault that their songs are so cute and bubbly and annoying sounding?  Is it their fault that they have so many repackaged albums?  Do you think it was their choice to do Tell me?

oh…and I’m not a fan of either of them…I only know Kissing You from SNSD and Tell Me and So Hot from WG…base on those and their 2 performances…SNSD has more vocal abilities than WG…I did heard the rest of the members of SNSD sang, and from that, I know that at least they can sing…I do want to hear WG sing ballads but I would back out from that…they can’t even sing a catchy song good…but I’ll listen to it…and maybe that would change my mind…
and yes…SNSD doesn’t have quite the same energy as WG, but they sang it better…that’s all I care so I can listen to it not watch it…

i guess WG and SNSD fans has stolen Cassiopeia’s title for being the most annoying and petty fangroups ever. I think Wonderfuls are probably more irritating based on the fact that on almost every forum, they make silly excuses for WG’s shortcomings rather than coming to terms with them. Some people need to tone their egos down, I see.

If you compare the Tell Me performances of WG and SNSD, then SNSD has won. I personally find SNSD more talented in terms of dance and singing skills, and I think WG has catchier tunes. However, i do think WG rides on their personality and image more than their music and that has never appealed to me at all.

That’s my two cents.

i don’t think there are any fanclubs that are rational. and you can’t generalize an entire fanclub by the actions of one or two people. if we do judge by those standards, then cass and elf would be the top of the list for crazy fanclubs, not snsd. a lot of wonderfuls are proud of the fact that they are “respectful” but honestly, read the comments here and some of the posts on soompi. i wouldn’t call them respectful at all. if my favorite singers are popular to the point where another group wants to perform their songs, i would be proud, not bashful. what did snsd ever do to wonder girls?? so much for being respectful and humble…
