@287: I’m someone who has a music background since I was born,So I think I know what to say and not to say,I’m not nor did I ever say SNSD singing tell me suck,there are just 2 different versions to sing it,WG’s version which of course wouldn’t it be the right way to sing it like them? Just like WG’s sang Kissing you like SNSD,but a little bit better.Oh,and LMAO! People wanted SNSD to sing more WG covers? Yeah right,Go on Daum! you’ll see it was just SNSD fans who wanted it.

Also,I’m not even comparing WG’s and SNSD, AGAIN I’m just saying who sang who’s song,I love a few of SNSD’s songs like Girl’s Generation, Kissing You,and Now Gee! But I see people saying it’s more mature,but do you guys really understand Korean? It’s the same lyrics close to Kissing you. One more thing can you SNSD hardcore fans stop bringing So Hee into this,Yes I even agree as a group SNSD sings better,but individually excluding Yoo Bin or So Hee, Sun Mi,Ye Eun,and Sun Ye can take mostly all of the girls in SNSD vocally, even if you don’t agree,that would just be your opinion,but if we got the S.Korean audience to hear who,I think we would know who they would choose,and even if you say they can’t all sing,on Korean magazines they have all been hailed to having great voices,including So Hee. I do agree with you all when you say JYP doesn’t give the girls songs that showcase their vocals,but he does(not as a single though),but currently the only one coming close is Nobody.Also,bringing that up,why even compare SNSD to WG’s not only do they have different talents,and concepts,SNSD isn’t even on WG’s level anymore. I think we all know SNSD has a long way to catch up now to WG’s. I know some of you may read this as if I’m defending Wg’s more,and you know what I am,but only because it’s true. I read a comment where someone even says Wg’s are just hardworking and not talented,and SNSD are talented,if that were truth why would they(SNSD) also have to train,like seriously think before you *speak in this case* write! lol

I think that SNSD and WG are equal. WG is not above SNSD nor is SNSD above WG. When you look at the advantages and disadvantages and weaknesses and strengths each group they are about the same. Whatever characteristic one lacks another quality somewhat makes up for it. WG may have the hit songs but SNSD has the albums sells that WG doesn’t have. SNSD may have the vocal stability but WG has JYP, who in some people’s eyes is a music genius. One disadvantage that WG has is that people like their songs than the actual group themselves. I noticed a lot of people don’t care so much for the group than their songs. It’s the songs they care about. One disadvantage that SNSD has is that their songs in the past focused a lot more on what they can do vocally than what mainstream media thought was entertaining. JYP follows where the money is. So does LSM but he isn’t so blatant about it. Catchy songs and songs that fit the ideals of the mainstream is what gets people noticed in Korean music industry. Do you see the really amazing singers or the songs that have real meaning get a lot of attention in the Korean music charts? NO. They get some media attention but not as much as what is seen as popular over there.

People really need to be realistic and unbiased. I like both groups but I’m not going to BS things just make my favorite one look good. I say what it is and I don’t sugarcoat it to make others happy.

And another thing people who keep saying WG sang Kissing You better really need to listen with their ears not with their eyes. It wasn’t very good and a lot people thought so too. I prefer WG to stick with their own genre of music. It’s best for them vocally.

Lol, this is catchy -_-’‘...It’s less cutesy, but still oozes cute, so not really my type of music. But hey, It’s a catchy track that will stay in my playlist probably for a while XD

it doesn’t really show off their vocals except for jessica and taeyeon (like in every other song).

like i’ve said before, sm showed their vocal skills in the first albums (so many slow songs) and now they can opt for more catchy tunes b/c everyone knows how talented they are.

btw: 100k was with their first album so i’ll look forward to 200k with their 2nd full length album but not with this mini-album…..i’ll be happy if they break a record or something but mini-albums typically don’t sell as much.

Hmm, at first, I wasn’t a fan of SNSD at all. In fact, I done right disliked them! But I have to say, that I think that over the past 9 monthes when they’ve been preparing for this, I think that they’ve grown up and become more mature and more dependable. Now I’m not saying they’re perfect, but I think that through all their hard work and dedication to their fans and music, that they’ve earned my respect. It takes a lot of a person to stand tall even when half the kpop world is bashing you. And for me, for them to stay strong, take the insults in the face, and comeback and get 1st, well, I think that says a lot about a group.
I never thought I’d be saying this, but good luck and congratulations Girls Generation! :D You truly are something, for being able to turn anti’s into closet fans!
