annax3c: as much as I like the wonder girls, i don’t think have easy dance steps is something to be proud of. I rather have artists perform at least a semi-difficult choreography than rely too much on simply hipswinging accompanied by basic hand moves, no matter how catchy those moves may turn out to be.

and yes I agree, this “copying” issue in itself is getting old. Not one move today has been original. If you don’t like them, then you don’t like them. Don’t make up excuses to get other people to not like them with you.

Rihanna can’t even dance so I don’t see how. And all the anti’s just stop. Don’t dirty Wonderfuls name. Let the soshi’s have their fun.

Their choreography is nothing like WG’s “Irony.” People really need to get their eyes’ checked. I’ve seen WG Irony plenty of times to know that SNSD did NOT copy their stuff. People are just trying to start drama. Some people need lay off the crack because that stuff really messes up your brain.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the MV. It was fun, colorful and cute.

It was quite bland but very colorful.  I thought all the girls looked pretty even if I’m not a fan.  The song itself is quite addicting.  The dance isn’t anything spectacular but its cute and fun.  I only now taeyeon and sooyoung.  LOL

snsd fans bashed kara for “copying” snsd when kara took the cutesy route. i can say the same now, snsd is copying kara with the doll thing. kara did it first at the sbs gayo daejun. so now look who’s copying who.

What two songs would they sing since comebacks usually have two songs? Probably the ballad one(Dear Mom).. People who sing two songs usually sing two complete opposite songs. But I’d rather have them sing Let’s Talk About Love heehee- get some oldschool back.
But oh well, they can make up the lack of skates in the MV while they perform in skates for their comeback

The MV screams low budget… I’m not surprised. The dance moves were nothing spectacular. :/ But we’ll see how their performance goes.

Correction, Kara did not do the doll concept first. SNSD’s first album had a doll concept already.

Sorry, but this isn’t the first time SNSD used the doll concept. And uh no. SBS Gayo Daejun was what…2 weeks ago?  SNSD filmed the MV last month.

The song is very catchy and the MV cute. The dances moves look fun and cute too~

Yah SM is on a low budget seeing that DBSK had to perform with no clothes on and etc.

Funny thing is, SNSD didn’t have to put on gold dresses nor have their hair sprayed with 10 cans of hairspray nor needed their boss to make a toilet cameo scene and they still manage to reach no. 1 everywhere.

only SM Entertainment can make a low budget looking music video look great.

there are other writers here at allkpop not just johnny that writes about snsd. i dont think all of them are snsd fans so i guess not all the news written about snsd is as positive and loving as johnny’s.

5millionwon: That is probably because SM artists don’t need to rely so much on things that don’t even relate to music. They don’t rely as much on funny antics, scandals, sparkles, glitter, and glamor to grab peoples’ attention as other artists.

Just my two cents. Too many artists today are not relying the music itself to sell. They rely more on a glamorous or hilarious music video or simple dance moves, which is disappointing.

dance is pretty important in korea but sm is relying on their music first not anything else.  still for me, music is WAY more important than simple dance moves.  like in north america, you dont see anyone dancing to WOMANZIER or CIRCUS on the streets.. at least u havent.. yet those songs are a hit.
