i think its tablo’s charm & his amazing lyrics, tukutz charisma & producing, and mithra’s rapping talent… they just all fit.. like i love how tablo’s voice & mithra’s voice are so diff. & their looks are SO Different.. yet they fit together perfectly

I think that Epik High wouldn’t be Epik High unless it had all the members. Tablo is the most popular, but if you listen to the group… he’s definitely not center stage in the actual music. He and Mithra Jin rap an equal amount, and the music wouldn’t be anywhere without DJ Tukutz. Just because Tukutz doesn’t rap doesn’t mean that he’s unimportant.

if tablo hadn’t whored himself out to variety shows epik high would still be sitting around doing virtually nothing and trying to be big.

personally I think Tablo is freakin’ awesome,
i dunno which song Tukutz produces, but if they’re like Fan or One, then he’s pretty good in my book

DJ Tukutz is my fave.

Tukutz produces/mixes most of the songs. Epik High won’t sound as unique as they are without Tukutz.

this makes me think of the neptunes, how pharrell is always in the public but you rarely hear or see much of chad.  I don’t think they would keep someone if they weren’t important.

They just come together and everything just works, the music is awesome and everyone has the role they play.  Tablo just happens to be the one that whores himself out to shows to promote the group, thats a good thing.

The three of them are ALL the reason for Epik High’s succes…just because he doesn’t get that much face time doesn’t mean he’s not worth anything.

Hell, I’m GLAD he whored himself in those shows because he made them even more popular.
Some people don’t even know that DJ Tukutz is in the group, which is sad.

I’ll probably be the first to say that personally I like mithra and tukutz better than tablo.

I thought I was the only one who finds Mithra Jin attractive LOL. Anyway, some of Tablo’s lyrics are really meaningful, like poetry. Not many singer/rapper/songwriters who can express themselves well out there.

I do think DJ T feels that people think less of him just because he’s not *there* with the other two, rapping and dancing…. The truth is I don’t think he adds to the flavor of the other two. Tablo and Mithra bring out the best in each other and make up whatever is lacking in the other.

^I think Tukutz completes them. What kind of dead beats will Tablo and Mithra rap over without Tukutz? Think of Tablo and Mithra as the words, and Tukutz as the paper.  He’s the basis which holds them together.

Like Kanye, Timbaland, Mark Ronson, Stargate, they might adlib a bit, but they let their beat do the talking, making their songs hits.

On a site note, Tablo has more unique vocals, and its cool he can rap bilingual, but I think Mithra has the better flow.

Tablo is freaking awesome but Epik One wouldnt be where they are now without DJ Tukutz. i dont think any of them would make up most of the beats when they are performing on stage..

tablo is the most popular, but the members deserve more credit.. check out the albums, Dj Tukutz writes a lot of the songs like tablo but doesnt get much credit. he also mixes and etc.

I admit, the entire group has talent. But I had assumed they would stay part of the a respectable Korean underground/independent scene. Though I don’t know whether being in that scene is more difficult and frustrating than the American Indie scene. I also was surprised upon seeing Tablo appearing on so many tv shows and commercials. I always assumed guys like him (with the hardcore intelligent rapping skills) had a rebellious, anti-mainstream streak in him. I guess I’m wrong. Well I haven’t read their lyrics so perhaps getting as much exposure is a good way to send out whatever important message they have.

i think its 1 shot deal. i think tablo wont be as successful by himself…and i know for a fact the other two can’t survive without him….

DJ Tukutz should have slapped the bullshit out of that guy, that’s all to it. I mean yea Tablo is the most known but, without the other two I don’t think Tablo would have gotten to where he’s at now. Plus Tukutz does things on the side from what I heard. Also he can sing lol.

It’s more of the fact that Tablo’s more out there and because of that, more ppl like him.  But Epik High is great together.  I think that Mithra and Tukutz would have a hard time without Tablo, not because of their abilities, but because Tablo has the “IT” factor.

I really don’t like when people say “they have the IT factor”? What the hell is the ‘It’ factor? I mean Tablo is likable yea, but sometimes he can say dumb things. Like when he said he’s going to stop rapping because their new album wasn’t selling like it should have because of people downloading lol… But a while ago he said he does music because he loves it… So I kind of lost some respect for him.

Besides even if he did stop rapping Tablo would be hated and the others would just go on about their business.

Actually, i think Mithra Jin is better rapper than Tablo, he’s so much more clearer and he completes the base for the songs they’re all in. Tablo’s voice, because its so distinctive, its gives them the extra edge. But epik high wouldn’t be where they are without all 3 of them putting in the effort to make such wonderful music.
