i think epik high would be great in the US. tablo speaks english well and thats already a great start. their hybrid artistic like rapping will be very fresh in the US with just thousands of black rappers.

But Im not sure if they will become as popular as SJ [or TVXQ&BB;for that matter] in Thailand as they’re not the ‘cutesy boy band’ type and most of the people people who listens to Kpop in Thailand are usually teenagers and appearances are key. Please dont bite my head off for saying that they’re not good looking or anything like that, that’s totally not what im saying xD Theyre good looking but are just a little different to what Thai people are used to, they dont wear matching costumes and dance and make cute faces [well, from what i can see anyways] Ught, I hope you guys will get what im trying to say -___- This is the reason I shouldnt go on the internet first thing in the morning

I’m not sure about Thailand, because there’re already mixed rap/hip-hop/pop artist who write his own music and also produce for the others. His songs are catchy and very popular. I just think that people usually like the kind of foreign artists that they don’t have.

I think the K-music lovers in genral will like Epic High for sure. I don’t know. Even the groups of people who like DBSK, BB, SuJu in Thailand are overlapping a lot.

i hope that they will succeed in Thailand and Japan…i hope that they can also expand here…

1) Music in Thailand is lacking.
2) Japan is more comfortable with hip-hop.
3) They’re original.
