yay!!!!! finally a performance i can watch!!!

lmao fans protecting DBSK. They’re good and I love them as well but I have to say, their releases are getting similar and similar.
It’s just ballads and upbeat tempo songs. If they can find something new then non fans would probably be quiet about the quantity>quality.
Right now they’re just releasing stuff and it could def. have more substance.But I do like Stand by U though…but I feel it’s more of a fall release than a summer one.

AND DAMN, Yoochun needs a freaking haircut…it’s getting pretty ugly.

I love how Music Fair is so conservative compared to Korean shows like Inki and Music Bank. x3 DBSK HWAITINGG <3

I don’t have any problem with critique (major fans here) as long as it comes with a good back up fact (unlike no.22 -LOL). Like people here that says their japan musics are boring, it’s fine with me cause it just a matter of different preference, cause me, personally, never like their SMP song unless they perform it live ^^ I like their mid-tempo, light pop, ballad song more than their SMP. And honestly, this performance is below THSK usual standard, but considering YC being sick, JS just recovered, and they film it in the middle of tour, I can’t ask for more ^^ I.am.in.love…...... ========================== @111: slim chance, it release at the same time with Arashi new singles. I’m rooting for 2nd. But THSK got invited to Music Station, so yay!!!!!!

@115 ^ i agree with you. Same as me i accept good criticism like their song quite boring. Well DBSK cant satisfy with everyone preference. I prefer ballad over SMP too . But if it LIVE i cant resist but to watch it lol. We cant expect them to be perfect all the time, and yes this is not their usually standard . I excuse them because maybe non -fan don’t know that for the past few months they have been bz with a lot of work and touring . In fact when they recorded this music fair i believe they just finished with their tour n the next day was their another touring at different venue . They have been touring since May and now already June. Plus wit JJ ‘s sickness and flu due to overwork we cant expect them to be @100%
Quantity over quality - the reason why they have so many single is because that is how japanese market work . Tomorow concert will be at nagoya and then mirotic concert at bangkok…arh…lucky fan

personally i like their first and second korean albums the best
and their japanese singles…
it just upsets me how a lot of korean people think theyre a lipsyncing dance group when theyre always doing lives in japan
i wish they could do another album with a lot of acapella like their first album minus triangle

Yeah they finally get to perform :D They are amazing, I mean they’ve broken records before, and they 2 albums a year might be the best they can do so far becuase they’ve been traveling between Japan and Korea without any rest, so they are LEGEND :D

and I kinda agree with @22, not all of it, because I really love DBSK, but .. their japanese music = boring, or at least most of it, but I still love all of their japanese music, but the other songs aren’t that great, so I kinda think that it’s quantity over quality, at least when it comes to their japanese music, but this doesn’t mean that they don’t have talent or sell well, because they are not the one choosing the songs, so yeah.

there are many kinds of ballads and upbeat songs.Can you say that Survivor sounds similar to O-Jeong Ban Hap and Bolero sounds similar to Stand By U ? Lol . Many idol groups only sing one genre again and again but some people still say that their music has quality>quantity. WTF ? Just biased after all

i used to really like kpop and loved a lot of kpop groups. after some months, i can’t stand to listen to it anymore. i don’t know why maybe bcoz i appreciated dbsk songs in jp more? seriously, dbsk is not made to set the trend but to make a good music that will last forever. they are so awesome, from HUG to MIROTIC, they are different from the others. they converted me from kpop to jpop btw. thanks to them!!!

DBSK are great
yes their japanese songs do sound similar but there AWESOME
however thier fans in japan are mostly older audiences mixed with young
if they wana sell then they shud take a look at JE comapnys artist like kat-tun arashi and news,
if DBSK added jrock mixed with dance and some nice costumes and abit of a focus point on the song (mainly for fans such as kat-tuns member jin who does a peace sign in thier song “you” or kame’s scream and kiss noises in ther song “lips” or jin wink and tounge in thier song “real face”)
then i belive they could pull in all those younger teenage fans like they do in korea
if they dont then thier songs (I DONT WANNA SAY THIS :(  ) will probably never sell over 300,00 - 400,000 like most boy groups in japan example news , kat-tun arashi etc

HOWEVR exile has proved that ballads and upbeat songs can selll
i just hope dbsk can do this tooo yay!!!!!

but japanese LOVE songs like these and it’s what important.

They’re releasing ballad song this summer because they WANT TO target more mature audiences. That’s their market yo..(as #135 said). If you really2 want to see their best live performance in music show, you should see LION HEART @ SMAPXSMAP. For me, it’s just awesome (they belt out their vocal harmonization nicely) I love their Japanese albums, it shows more personality, while Korean albums shows more character. But both shows who TVXQ is. So far their ballads are the best !!! Hopefully Tohoshinki could surpass everyone (including Arashi and Exile).. it’s a long way to go but, I can see the chances there ^^ Can’t wait for their Tokyo Dome Concert !!!

@ 135 i think they’re smart not to follow JE boyband’s steps. this way they can appeal to wider range of fans. JE boybands are popular among teenage girls only but THSK can boast quite the amount of male fans, no matter young or old.
