I just hope they get the money/pay they deserve and not be slaves of SME anymore. Hopefully, this all works-out and DBSK can finally be a group again!

was wondering when you were gonna post this. What I’ve read from other sources is that they are not allowed to leave SM BUT the 13 year contract will be shortened. To what degree has yet to be decided. Interesting…

O_O- ahh the court ruling is a compromise and i dont think the SME should appeal against it- to be honest they still have exclusive rights the only thing thats changed is that DBSK can reject schedules- etc which is good- but can they really- as they still get low wages etc so they’re going to need to do lots of schedules to keeps the profits high to enable them to get decent wages- to to be honest- did anything really change O_O
but im happy they can still stay as a group!!!

also now im wondering what kind of contract are SHINee suju snsd f(x) in- O_O

“The court has gave out the final ruling on the lawsuit between the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki and SM Entertainment.

Seoul Central Court revealed on 27th October a citation of their ruling for the lawsuit between the SM Entertainment and TVXQ Hero JaeJoong, Xiah JunSu and Micky YooChun.

It was revealed, “We see that part of the terms in their contract has much destroyed the good morals of the whole contract. SM Entertainment should not interfere with its singers’ independent unique activities and also contract to perform and other entertainment activities.”

Previously in July, the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki has revealed their 13-year long contract under SM Entertainment, which meant that they will possibly be working under SM Entertainment for life, and has applied for the effect of provisional disposition of the terms in their contract. And the 2 parties have engaged in a lawsuit as SM Entertainment insist that the terms under their contract are reasonable.

The court also revealed, “Through the individual agreement, there is high possibility for group activities to continue, but for the provisional disposition of the existing activities and the profit allocation, it is invalid and difficult. We will have to dismiss the application for the full provisional disposition of the effects of the exclusive belonging terms in the contract.”

Updates: The 3 members have announced that they will agree to the court rulings on this lawsuit

the profit income thingy decision is not out yet.This is only a partial one, not the full one.Another thing is, SM says they will immediately appeal for the ruling ,I didnt read it from any sources.

I’m really happy for them… after the final ruling our dbsk boys would be hopefully back if everything goes well

@26. I dont know much about what they do besides singing and performing. But I bet they make much more when they advertise or endorse stuff. I’m sure they make more than $30K a year.

TVXQ received only $120K in 4 years. This means $30K per year.
Also, the amount of money TVXQ has earned from when they started their Japanese activities in 2005 till now is a little over 150 million Won per member.
*150 million Won = around $120,000 dollars*
