Chae Dong Ha reveals why he left SG Wannabe
The now solo artist Chae Dong Ha revealed why he left SG Wannabe after years of hard work being the the leader of the group.
In an interview with Newsen, he stated his reasons for his departure from the group, "It's not because I wanted to go into acting. I never said I wanted to act. I was in our music video once and people thought it meant I wanted to act. I kept getting musical parts and since there was so much to experience from it, I decided to be part of a musical."
He also made it clear he didn't leave because he had a bad relationship with the members. He said, "That's not true. We were close. We still are. We call each other from time to time to check up on each other. Since we created music together, we became close and we respected each other for personal decisions. We were together for 5 years, of course we fought sometimes. If you only look at that, people might think I left because of the "bad relationships" but that is not the case. I never even thought about that."
He continued, "The members never complained about me leaving the group. They never made me feel guilty, I was so thankful for that. Until this day, I'm still thankful for them. I hope the best for them."
Then he said the real reason why he left, "I wanted to figure out my life. I debuted when I was 20 and I didn't even look back once. I just kept running forward, my health wasn't good. I wanted to think about what to do with my life. I didn't quit just so I could start over by myself."
He is planning on a comeback on the 10th.
