BoA’s “White Wishes” PV

We reported back in September that BoA was going to sing for a Japanese RPG game, Tales of Grace and then heard the actual single, White Wishes not long ago.

With the actual song sounding very good already since it's the theme song for a Japanese RPG, that effect was made even better with the release of the PV recently. The MV might look minimalistic and simplistic at first glance but somehow or rather, you get a rather good feeling after watching it. BoA looks really beautiful and mature in this MV too.

I’m unimpressed. BoA needs to realise she’s no longer “cute” the way she used to be. When she set foot in the US she transformed herself into a kind of gender-bender or something. @22. Where do you see BoA trying to act “cute”??? In no way do I see her trying to be like when she was in her My Sweetie days or Milky way days. This MV shows a mature BoA that has changed from her experience in the US. Shes 22, almost 23 and BoA has even said that shes trying to get away from the cute image because thats not her anymore, Avex was trying to keep her like that. This is the REAL BoA.

Honestly, I was smiling the whole time I was watching it. Some other people were saying on different sites that this PV looks cheap and something quickly made, but I enjoy the simplicity of it. Especially the ending, with her walking out to the audience.
Although I did not expect the PV to come out so early. Isn’t this supposed to be a December release? Why in such a hurry to release a PV?

I really love this song! And she looks beautiful in this PV. Back when she had long hair, her face looked long and skinny, but I think the short hair looks better for her mature image.
@ 22 - What do you mean, ‘cute’? I can’t see any traces of a cutesy nature in this PV. And don’t say such pessimistic things. She’s still a huge deal in Asia.

The short hair sucks, she needs extensions.
She doesn’t need hair to be that long, but something mid length would be much better than this. It makes her look 5+ years older.
That being said, this song is amazing. If only she stopped singing “out of her nose,” the single would be purchasable for me. :[
