BoA Jingle Ball and a special on MTV

Two weeks ago, we reported that BoA would perform at the KIIS-FM Jingle Ball Concert on December 6th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. We have some additional information on it.

BoA is scheduled to be the opening act for Tokio Hotel. She is also going to perform two songs, “Look Who’s Talking" and of course "Eat You Up." Other big name acts who'll be performing at the concert are Rihanna, Chris Brown, and The Pussycat Dolls. You can find more information here.

BoA is also scheduled to be at the TRL Studio in Time Square on December 3rd. MTV is going to air a 3 hour special "MTV World Presents: BoA Live in New York". This will air on MTV, MTV Iggy, MTV Korea, MTV Japan, MTV International and the other various MTV channels. The show will be simulcast over the big screen LCD in Times Square. Good luck BoA, her English has improved a lot (but her speaking voice is kinda nasally). This seems to be some BIG promotions so it should hopefully help launch her career. Hope the best for her.

Why do people get obsessed with accent?? It's clear than she was born and raise in Korea and English is her third language so it natural to have an accent. And correct me but isn't it chinese, japanese, and korean is harder in learning english cause they didn't pronounce some of the words (like in japanse: L). As long as you understand what she's saying I don't have any problem with it (or maybe this because I'm not an american myself). Good luck for BoA, work it girl...

it looks like she's playing the jingle ball pre show i highly doubt she's gonna be aired on regular MTV. They air like less than an hour of music programming a day, I doubt they're gonna dedicate any of that time to BoA. MTV world and iggy yeah... i'd love to see but I don't get those stations... and who does?

Agreeeed. I have this love-hate thing with her english as well. I love the fact that she's improved so much. But I can't stop myself from cringing when I listen to it a little. Congrats to her. I can't wait for her album. I just want her to perform some more in the States. So they can see that she's the real shit.

Technically, Se7en and BoA came to America to study English and get ready for their debut around the same time. It's just that Se7en and Rain were more public about it. It doesn't matter if Rain came here before Se7en and BoA, his Eng still sucks (sorry :P). -sLaVe

Go BoA! Actually, Se7en came to the US to study English. BoA studied it in Asia- major difference. Both studied for the same time though, but BoA concentrated on Japanese market as well in Asia. Se7en's English is really good.

She's not performing with the main lineup, she's in some pre-show thing that people will probably ignore. Meanwhile, her single is still nowhere to be found (tv, radio (the little ad on some radio stations doesn't count, the charts!). There is still absolutely nothing about Boa on the main MTV site, just on that MTViggy website, so i really doubt it's gonna be on the main channel.
