Big Bang shows off their Japanese Skills on MTV VMA Japan

BoA wasn't the only Korean artist in attendance at MTV VMA Japan on 30th May, Korean group Big Bang was there as well. They weren't there just for the festivities however, they actually had a role to play.

Big Bang was introduced as "Guest Celebrities" and showed off their Japanese and English linguistic skills for around 30 seconds before introducing Katy Perry. I can't really say much about their Japanese, because I don't know Japanese, but their English seemed pretty good. It seems like G-Dragon is getting better with the accent. In other news, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki who weren't in attendance (because of their concerts) was nominated for the Best Group Video Award but unfortunately they didn't win. EXILE actually won the award, better luck next time boys.

I lol’ed at their japanese, because their pronunciation isn’t that good. Seung Ri’s especially, you can tell that they’re foreign. But I applaud them for learning a new language :D!

I don’t know much Japanese, but Seung Ri’s one sounds more… fluent? XD Or maybe the time when I heard Daesung say “arigatou gozaimashita” in the most literal way haunted me for too long.
For some reason, I find it cute when people say “desu ne~”
EXILE’s Ti Amo video was pretty cool… nice costumes and setting. Haven’t seen the Japanese version of Mirotic, so I’m not sure how it looks like.

their english is even better than their japanese..not that I know japanese but GD’s english was good, and from what ive heard from the other boys, they dont have as much of an accent as others….anyway, love hearing anything about BB so im a happy camper

Their english pronounciation is good, but when they speak or sing in english is does seem slightly fobbish… >_>... Don’t all jump at once! It’s just my opinion. Really love them, though. Taeyang looks hot as always!!! *_*
