Mnet didn’t full out say they banned SM artists, but yes there are tensions between Mnet and SM Entertainment. SNSD didn’t even have a comeback performance on M!Countdown. When was the last time SM artists performed on M!Countdown? Like two months ago.

I like Seungri and all, but be realistic. SNSD won on Inkigayo and Music Bank. How can they not win on M!Countdown since it’s the easiest award to win out of all the music shows?

And I don’t think SM artists are banned on KBS Music Bank anymore. Shinee is sent to perform this weekend and SNSD is going to perform next weekend.

yes SM artists are banned from KBS Music Bank but MNET and SM are also having tensions between each other. rumours has it going back to the cause of MKMF.

SNSD was leading the polls together with Seungri but unfortunately because of tensions between SM and MNET, SNSD couldn’t perform which equates to them not getting the award.

and btw, SHINee is performing on MuBank today and SNSD will be performing on MuBank next week. which means, the KBS ban has been lifted off SM Entertainment.

so now, SM Artists can’t perform on just MNet it seems.
