Welcome to the successful world. As a dbsk fans, we experienced that before and even now the haters still say that DBSK will never be famous in Japan like (inset the name of any top artist in Japan). Of course there’re always the better in some area, so what? Let’s celebrate for any progression.

As much as I’d like to have Big Bang as the biggest thing ever, I won’t deny that a lot of people have converted to 2pm already. Their lack of activity in S.Korea seems to do 2pm lots of benefits. Same thing happened in 2007 when DBSK focused in Japan, YG took advantage and Big Bang made it real BIG.

That’s why 2008 was a bloody battle because Big Bang was the CURRENT BIG THING and DBSK was the COMING BACK BIG THING. As we all know, the result was pretty much in favor of DBSK although Big Bang gave a REALLY GOOD FIGHT.

Now I can’t wait for 2010 because when Big Bang comes back, then we’ll see if they have the staying power if they go head to head with 2pm. DBSK have already proven that staying power. Will BB also do? Let’s see.

And by 2011, 2PM would surely have to go head to head with another new boy band at that time. We’ll see where Big Bang would be… whether they’ve braved 2010 against 2pm or have proven to be just a fad…

Shinhwa and DBSK are already LEGENDS and GODS…. Big Bang and 2PM have yet to prove their achievements.

very well said kresten…,  I am also a full time VIP   And I know by the time…They will always have some newcomers to challenge you.    But…somehow….. I acknowledge that Bigbang was not dominated much into Asian countries market like what SM did with DBSK / SUJU and many more of their idols under the label.  As the result….as YG barely promoted the boys outside Korea ( except Japan )  so their fanbase in these region ( China,Taiwan,Thailand,Singapore,Philipines,Vietnam,etc…. was never be able to compare with those SM artists.  Same goes with JYP…..they are promoting 2PM very hard in Thailand as one member in group—Nichkhun is Thai—so far their fanbase is increasing.  But I have faith in the boys….As long as they keep coming with their music…..I wil always support them and hope they can last long and prove themselves as some other REAL artists in the industry.

Taeyang doesn’t seem like the person to get mad, TOP looks like he gets mad. LOL
Seungri would never learn if he keeps saying that he’d listen better, x]

I agree with #85 JY, I wish YG would promote their artists more outside Korea. It’s sad cause YG seems not really giving great effort in foreign promotions. BB debuted in Japan in Jan 2008 but it seems that the “best effort” only started this May 2009. Also, it took forever before ygeshop opened to iVIPs. I guess he’s just not a risk-taker that’s why he promotes best where there is sure market.

but anyway, no promotions or lotsa promotions, BB successfully stole my heart. VIP forever.
