XD i thought they can at least sell 10K. bigbang, really long way to go boys. i’m looking forward to all the hardships japan has in store for them. dude, it’s not easy… and for those saying bb > dbsk, remember to always keep your feet on the ground, bb has not achieved anything yet. after 4-5 years, we’ll get to know how hard it is. and that is if they make it big. goodluck!

what happen to all the vips? Since bb is consider a top group in korea, shouldnt they have a lot fans that support their work no matter what? and all those saying bb > dbsk, oh please bb went to japan after they suceeded in korea, dbsk went to japan when they were just a year or so in their career.

yeah, ppl hav to look at the sales too… they sold less than 5754…. is that a good thing? they chose a date where not many big names r releasing their single~ ppl shouldnt hav so high expectations, they still have a long way to go~

congrat.. although the sales are quite low (it’s around 5k or lower), it will be increase with each release and endless promotion. Promotion is really important. You can’t just release, have two performance, and go back to Korea.

@24 This is BB’s SOPHOMORE year in JPop, right? I remember that they released a couple of mini-albums and one full length album last year (2008).

Hence, if comparisons has to be made with TVXQ’s foray into JPop, BB’s 2009 activities should be compared to TVXQ’s 2006 activities.  In 2006, the highest rank TVXQ got at Oricon Daily Chart was No.2 for ‘Miss You’ which sold around 23,000 copies. ‘Sky’ actually sold more at 27,000 copies but it only ranked at No.6.

You have to look at the number of units sold because the ranking never gives you a true picture.

I think the exact sell counts should be much bigger than 5k…think of those who ordering their CD outside Japan : esp in Korea where YG is selling them too.  Probably we just have to wait and see when it’s finally reported.  I dont really have HIGH expectation though….How much did THSK 1st singel sold ? Only about 10000 smth right? Bigbang still has long way to go.

@74 Yes it’s Bigbang 2nd year in JPOP but…..This is considered their FIRST JAPANESE SINGLE MAJOR DEBUT. ....Those albums in 2008 are just like ENGLISH ALBUMS though…..So this must be more significant for them hence they spent much more time on promotion in Japan.

It’s amazing that only two weeks and they’ll be back with another single. I like “My Heaven” and congrats for getting the 4th place, but i’m looking forward to hear “Gara gara GO”, which by the name appears to be like some sugary Morning Musume song. let’s hope it’s not. \o/

that’s good news for a newcomer in Japan to be in Top 4 at the Oricon Chart. and they are in a big music agency Universal Music Japan so i know they will do well in Japan.
