I really like what Tablo said in part 2 of your video. You won’t break in America just because you speak english and you don’t have to be ‘American-ish’ to break in America. If that was the case, nobody in the us would know about any music overseas because they speak a different language.

I definitely agree with Tablo.

Some Korean artists sold out when they cross over to the American industry and it seriously wasn’t them anymore, which is why their music now doesn’t really appeal to me.

They should stick to who they are, like the Wonder Girls!

Yep, he sure said some wise things, his thinking is walking on the right path.

I like Tablo’s perspective on things. The thing he said about the Korean artists breaking into the American music market is so true. It’s better for these artists to do something they’re really good at rather than rushing in here with their not so fluent English.  The hair question was kind of weird though. Lol. Other than that, can’t wait for their albums!

Finally, somone says somethign that makes sense. Maybe now all them asian artist and their companies will realize. They do nt havew to be more American or western to make it over here. They should bring who they are over here with FULL asian pride.

On another note. I can’t wait for the next album.

Wow. I always thought he was like the other Korean pop-stars (eg., Rain, Crown J) who act like they know English, but really don’t. Definitely not. He sounds educated and most importantly, real.

The interviewer on the other hand….... I’m sure he was nervous and hasn’t had much practice…

Hello¡ I’m a spanish boy and sorry if my english is bad or xD the words are wrong, at first, I knew a few weeks more of epik high with the song “Break down” and “one” , It’s awsome how so much singers just know only a few word in english and tablo it’s really good, I suposse all Epik high xD

Thanks allkpop for that wonderful interview of my favorite korean celebrity—Tablo.

While it was nice to watch that interview, I have a lot of suggestions/constructive criticism for the interviewer.

I know it must have been tough and nerve-racking to interview a celebrity like Tablo, especially if you’re a huge Epik High/Tablo fan as I am, so that might have accounted for some of the awkwardness on your part, but anyway you should have been well rehearsed enough so that this shouldn’t have shown up on camera.

Basically here are my tips for you. Please stop asking such rambling questions such as (when talking about the remix album) “So Planet Shiver was the one that’s producing most of it? Or was it just you guys working together? Or was it just basically…” instead of asking multiple questions in one (you sound like you’re trying to guess how they do it.), you should instead be COMPLETELY ignorant of their project and ask “How was Planet Shiver involved in your upcoming remix album?” or asking “I heard that Epik High was to work with Planet Shiver for your remix album. To what extent was Planet Shiver involved?” etc. You should be more direct when asking your questions otherwise you just don’t sound professional. Also… lol. I really LOLed at this point of the interview when you talked about how they divide up the vocals by mentioning Tablo having the “sexy voice.” That was just awkward man. You could have cut out all the awkward by asking “How does Epik High typically divide up the vocal parts?” (and here, if you wanted to direct him more specifically by asking a few more questions in conjunction with that broad one, you can also ask) “Do you usually think about who’s voice would sound better for that part, or is it more like each member chooses lyrics that they’d like to represent vocally?”

Sorry if it seems like I’m bashing you. Not at all (or at least I’m not trying to.). You definitely weren’t HORRIBLE. I mean you got the job done. It was a little awkward, but oh well. These are basically my tips so that your NEXT interview will run smoother. Good luck~
