Hey, just got home from KollabNY and I saw Tablo’s shout out to everyone at the show! Very kind of him. I’m looking forward to watching the interview (after I get some sleep haha!).

Tablo’s got a lot to say, and I love hearing his perspective on these sorts of things. It’s true what he says about Korean Labels and them trying to westernize their artists. Honestly, if you want to break through in America, you ned to be different. Come in with a few catchy beats? Sure, you’ll be famous for a while, but then what? I hate the fact that now Asians have to hide their true culture because the masses expect perfect English and for the artists and for them to be “normal” Americans. But now I’m rambling, so I’ll stop and just leave with a simple “Epik High is awesome and I want that new album” XP

This was right after I met Aliks for the first time and Tablo for the 2nd I was literally waiting downstairs for my friend to pick me up when this was happening. Tablo’s english isn’t just “pretty good” it’s awesome! He has a masters in creative writing from Stanford. I was able to chat with him for a bit and he extremely humble and mad chill. Aliks did a great job interviewing him if that were me I definitely would have a much more difficult time speaking to him! Thanks again AKP!
