well I don’t think it’s all that bad as you say, but they definetely look DIFFERENT.

first, there was the manga, then the taiwanese,then the japanese, then the korean, then the chinese, so definetely the koreans weren’t first.
but I like all versions ^^
only the head character, domiyoji,or goo jun pyo, his hair is not not my style ^^

You know what I find even more annoying than Chinese Jun Pyo’s over-gelled tower of hair? The fact that netizens are watching this thing and scrutinizing pictures just to compare it with Ggotboda Namja. What does it matter? It seems really stupid to watch something you won’t even like just to prove the version you do like is better.

I think the story wise, Japanese version was the best (short, to the point and good flow of the story)
F4 wise, korean version, the are just good looking people.
As for Geum Jandi, Japanese takes it. She was just in chacacter.
Goo Hye-Sun was plain bad choice to play Geum Jandi, annoys the hell out of me.

the guy who is going to be playing woobin should TOTALLY be playing jihoo’s part, from the looks. anyways, from the prettiness of the boys, the korean F4 is better, but the acting and how much of the storyline is the same and changed also matter [for me at least].
i’ll end up watchin this…lmao, jus to see wat kind of storyline they have…lmao!

firstly, the uniform color is absolute fail. secondly, f4 is supposed to be classy people, but in the picture, those boys look anything but classy x_x and thirdly, what the heck is up with the jihoo one’s hair?! like seriously man…

sorry if that’s too harsh, i’m just stating my opinion :( though i guess they are in a bit of a disadvantage because all korean f4 are very good looking and it’s inevitable to compare them. however it took ages for the korean production company to find the right actors for the roles which was worth the wait really i think the chinese production company should reconsider their decision x_x

I don’t see the similarity in the uniforms at all… Because all school uniforms (to me) have somewhat of the same uniform-ish appearance, a uniform is a uniform… there’s only so many styles you can go with without getting the exact same turnout….

I love the Korean one the best! I’ve not seen much form the Japanese one, but it seems just as fantastic!

i’m not feeling it for the chinese one, the cast doesnt look all that great and i think it wont be as big a production as it is in korea or japan. i think this will be a low budget drama for china.

oh and another thing I don’t see the difference between the Korean F4 and the Chinese F4 except that the Chinese F4 actually look like they belong in High School. who cares who’s hot or not the acting is what u watch it for unless u just watch bad acting cause the actor is hot?

The uniforms do actually look tacky. The colour scheme looks lazy as if they were using the British flag’s colour, the choice of colour also makes the school itself look less posh. Compared to the Korean’s uniform where black is used, it seems to show a classic feel - formal and posh. And seriously, what’s with the random pattern on the trims? The pattern’s colour completely off balances the blazer.
And seriously, what where the Chinese producers thiking? Are they trying to strike up competition with the Korea BBF? They’re just going to fail mniserably by the looks of the cast and uniforms already.

Meteor Garden is still the best as far as I’m concerned… The original F4 and Shan Cai.
Hana Yori Dango was ok. Matsumoto Jun and Matsuda Shota rocked.
As for the third remake (yes, the Korean version), I’m too tired of the storyline to watch it again…

im taiwanese ... but its not really that big of a deal that theyre creating another boys over flowers . i mean everyones doing it now . but i have to admit . i never liked the korean version of BOF . i liked the taiwanese one. but that might be because i watched the taiwanese one first when i was a little girl. but by far. the japanese one was the best even though everyone was damn ugly other than oguri shun. but the korean verion’s is more high quality in props and uniforms .

From what I heard, HanGeng was offered a role in the Chinese adaptation but he was forced to turn it down because the filming schedule would have clashed with Suju’s comeback or something. I don’t mind - I wouldn’t have wanted to see him in that anyway.

Those uniforms really are ugly - way too colourful, imo, but I don’t think they’re that similar to the Korean one. The girl is very pretty though and the ‘Ji Hoo’ guy would look better if he changed his hideous hairstyle. Honestly I didn’t watch Meteor Garden, only watched about half of HYD and only got 3 episodes into BOF. I’m yet to find a version I really, truly like and I’m not even going to waste my time with another one.
