2008 MKMF, TOP and Hyori share a kiss and more

2008's version of MKMF (Mnet KM Music Festival) was a big night with a lot of surprises. Most people thought that TVXQ / DBSK would be receiving the Big awards, but it was Big Bang that was snatching the Big awards by winning the Best Male Group and Best Artist of the Year awards. TVXQ did win the Auction Style Award, Auction Netizen Popularity Award, Oversea Viewers Award, and their biggest prize Album of the Year.

Girls' Generation / SNSD were up for some awards but weren't even in attendance. It didn't matter much however as they were swept by The Wonder Girls who won both Best Female Group and Song of the Year for "Nobody."

Newcomers SHINee won the best Male newcomer award, genre-defying Epik High won the Best Hip Hop Group award and sexy diva Lee Hyori won the Dance Music and Best Female Artist award... speaking of Lee Hyori.

Lee Hyori surprised a lot of people when she kissed TOP of Big Bang during their opening performance, which has a lot of netizens talking. All in all it was a great night! You can watch the video and see the pictures below.

i’m pretty happy with the results…
DBSK just got back and they still won the Daesang award for the best album…
my 3 faves owned it!
Daesang Song=WG
Daesang Artist=BB
Daesang Album=DBSK
and of course!SHINEe deserved that awars also!
The kiss between TOP and Hyori was OTT though..
i didn’t like it not cause i’m jealous but it reminds me of Madonna and Brit’s controversial kiss…
felt like they were trying to remake it Kpop style..
