The 2008 Golden Disk Awards were held earlier today at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Seoul. The Big Winners of the night were TVXQ / DBSK who won three awards (Daesang Album, Bonsang Disk, and YEPP Popularity Award).

Although nominated for numerous categories, Big Bang didn't even attend the event. It wouldn't have made much of a difference however because they didn't win any awards... besides the award for ~~Biggest Losers~~.

although i'm not a fan, but wondergirls did a wonderful job. i can tell who's singing and who's got the talent in the group. so that made me appreciate them more. and yes, dbsk sweeps the major awards again. for some reason i didn't really enjoy the 'are you a good girl' perf. there's always something off when they perform a new song on a big stage. But they did excellent anyway.. oh... and i am slowly starting to like jae's pants.... lol and that stupid reedited mirotic. Mirotic will be mirotic even if they changed 'skin' to 'sky.' yunnie's solo was great. It's the year of SM... god that man must be filthy rich.

Blah blah blah blah, more excuses, tsc tsc! 8DDDD You say they didn't win because of album sales - well, they don't sell 'cause they're pure trash. :D BB sold more than 100,000 and yet you guys think they've done a lot LOL Maybe, if you count EVERY SHIT they released during the year, you'll be able to get near DBSK's sales of around 500,000 with just ONE album. Hah. What makes us mad the most - at least me, is the fact that you guys think they're the only ones who deserve these end of year awards, disrespecting other artists who have worked their asses off during one, and/or two years, to finalize a product, because "OMG, Big Bullshit has worked harder". BB fans are all crybabies, lol.

I'm so proud of them that I can't stop smiling XDD Anyways....can't wait until I get home so I can watch the performances!! I really enjoyed this Golden Disk Awards...The right people won and don't nobody even say that SM bribed people! I'm happy DBSK won! They truly deserved it! Love the Mirotic & Are You A Good Girl performances because it was so hyped up! Yoochun was the one feeling it the most, lol. I really want them to have Are You A Good Girl as the next MV even though I have a feeling their going to promote a ballad next :(, oh well. Loved Wonder Girls' performance as well...Showed to me who has strong vocals in the group...I feel it's the first singer [Sunye?] and the fourth one, the ginger haired one...I really want to download this remix, like it better than the original It seems Rain just concentrates on his dancing more than anything and I don't know whether it's a good thing or not. I love F.T Island!! Glad their won something...ShiNee too!![DBSK's fanboys, lol] Apparently Big Bang didn't come or perform because of 'unfortunate circumstances'

First of all, I'm not a Cassie, even though I'm a huge fan of the group. Because, to me, Cassies are considered those who are part of their OFFICIAL FANCLUB. The rest, obviously, are fans. Not Cassies, not taking out the credit of those international fans who support them. Then, don't mix the Cassies (korean, chinese fans - whoever you're talking about) into this, because I'm saying this for myself, because of what I've seen. The "Vips" trashing DBSK in this site or others just when MKMF was over. I didn't cry, I didn't whine - to me, they got the best award of the night: ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Their work. And it was confirmed at GDA, that elected them as the best. :) You are the worst ones - in forums, you keep making excuses that they didn't win anything because they didn't attend, or other shit. They didn't win because they didn't deserve it. Their sales didn't reach enough to beat the best. End of story. I'm not going to discuss this anymore with crybabies and hypocrites. lol

I'm just glad that the awards went to it's rightful owners. I pretty much enjoyed the whole show. And congratulations to everyone who won. It's been a great year for all even though with some crappy music here and there, Kpop actually thrived. And one more thing: GDA>MKMF.
