well, in the basque country is 18+ but it's not like anybody minds. If you ask out there most of young people would not even know if it's 16 or 18 lol... and most of people start drinking at 15 or so. At least, i did.

hmm I currently live in SK so it's 18+
I also turned 21 here even tho I'm originally from the states...

oh yeah, how could I forget our own commonwealth brethren. I think thats the same with all the queen's countries ay? But yeah, I get wasted every week unfortunately. Uni is a chore, work is such a bore, so you drink to the core (i lols)

Cept Canada is Either 18 or 19 (and i think 21 in certain places) and it all depends on the province you live in. and UK commonwealth sex laws are 16+

And US is 21 for almost everyone!! imagine the horror of the combination of underage drinking + no gun control! HHHOOOLLLAYYYYYY!

i'm from romania so here the legal age for everything from drinking,smoking to having sex and getting a driving licence is 18...but nowadays young fellows don't give a damn about the laws...^_^so who cares!!

Where I'm from, 16 is the legal date for drinking smoking and sex. Though when it comes to sex I think it's girls 16, boys 18.

But I can not believe that it is 21+ in America, poor youth, they have no life(

here in holland is 16 when you can drink use drugs ect
18 is when you can get your licence to drive
kind of weird because a 16 year old can have sex with a 40
year old if they want

Im a bit lost with this one:

What happens if your legal age at home is 18+ and you visit a country where the legal age is 21+ (or 19+)?
Are you still legally allowed to do 'adult' stuff over there?
I havent been overseas since i turned 18 so I wouldnt know.

I used to live in Serbia where there's no laws (at least that i know) about drinkin age. parents gave alcohol to their kids at very young age. Smoking too.. sex I don't really know

Now I live in France 18+ or 16+ i'm not sure for drinkin,16+ for smoking and sex is an oder story.

And to answer to chris2I40 If I go in the states I can't drink because I'm only 20 and the legal age is 21. When you go in another country you have to respect their own laws.

18+ to drink or smoke
14+ to have sex
18+ to drive a motor bike
20+ to drive a car

*Ahem*Ahem* I live in Canada... more precisely Quebec, and I can assure you that there is 10 yo kids participating rainbow bjs contests in open houses... here driving and sex is 16+ and drinking and smoking is 18+, but some ppl have sex at like 21 yo and others at 7 yo. Also, it's quite common to see 11 yo kids smoking and taking drugs and do drinking contests. This is why french Canada is so effin' fucked up. NOW SHUDDER MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! btw, I'm not one of these, I don't like stereotypes much
