^well at least his mv is on mtv. Never saw BoA's on mtv (the real mtv, not mtv iggy. hell who in America even has mtv iggy?)

I dunno if he can make it, but he seems to have a better chance than BoA. And to be honest, some people are using the race card as the reason that their singles aren't played a lot, but both of their debut singles are weak. Even if they weren't Asian, I doubt they'd get a lot of popularity.

They also seem to be ditching their previous styles for a more "American" style. Foreign artists who make it in America are known for bringing their own style, but just twisting it a bit for the American audience. So both Se7en and BoA need to keep their own personal styles and tweak it a bit, not just ditch it.

I'm rooting for se7en though. If he doesn't get success this album, he can always make another. Rihanna took 3 albums to become as famous as she is now.

He won't make it unless people get over the Asian stereotype though.
I think he should sing some "softer songs" & get away from hiphop styled songs.
His voice suits those songs better.

The best bet of an Asian breaking through would be Utada Hikaru. She has a few advantages over both Se7en and BoA. She can speak English fluently, she already tried to debut in the US, she's signed with Island Def Jam, and her single is kick ass. She has the most potential.

Dang you're right... her single is definitely great. It's very fresh.

I personally don't think Se7en will make it big because his style is too plain hip-hop... there are so many American artists that can do that better. If Kpop artists want to break through they have to balance being different and fresh without alienating the potential fanbase.

if se7en was to stick with they way he writes his korean song but translate it in english then hell yeah.

se7en can make it if he sticks with the right ppl. i agree with pat.chung. he should go get timbaland, that dude will make him big. as for the 2pm comment. i doubt 2pm will be successful considering how big the group is. americans are too stupid to tell them apart and they just gonna end up bashing on them. the group that i think that has highest chance of making is big bang.

I'm really hoping so. He's been working very hard for 2 years now. I'll always be supporting Se7en.
