My first korean drama- Winter Sonata. I was completely hooked. I remember staying up all night trying to finish the drama, and not doing my homework then I got a swollen puffy eyes from crying like hell.
mine was bodyguard... i love lim eun-kyung and cha seung-won, because of that i started loving korean entertainment. sometimes i wondering what happened to lime eun-kyung though? i miss watching her.
my first dram "Boys Over Flowers" mainly watched it cuz everyone was goin on about it.. gave up at ep.6 now i wonder what was the point of it?

[i wanna share a story: because we were addicted to it, we bought posters and stickers of the meteor garden casts (hahahaha) and i put some of the stickers on my notebooks.. i SERIOUSLY DONT KNOW WHY but my teacher was soooo MAD at me and scolded me and everything for putting a METEOR GARDEN STICKER on MY notebook!!!! my classmates had kero keropi and hello kitty and stickers on their notebooks!what the hell..]
What was your first Asian drama that got you hooked?
Mine was Meteor Garden when it aired in the Philippines. They dubbed a Tagalog version of it, so I had to watch it again just to hear their actual voices.

I can't remember which Korean drama I've seen first because they've aired way too many here in the Philippines.
the first korean tv show i watched was new nonstop 3 on arirang way back in 2003. the first k-drama that i tuned in was lovers in paris, first t-drama was meteor garden and first j-drama was gokusen. =)
