In the first round, there was a total 2503 votes. BoA had the most votes overall with 560 votes, Kim Jung Eun unfortunately was last place with only 15 votes. Again the top 4 will advance to the next round (the final four). Thank you for participating in Round 1, Round 2 will end May 10th.

Hyori - Birthdate: May 10, 1979. Hyori is a popular South Korean singer and actress. She started off as part of the successful K-pop girl group Fin.K.L, but has since become a solo artist. Her first album was very successful, winning many “Daesangs” (a Korean award equivalent to “Artist of the Year") for that album. She has since become the highest-paid female singer in South Korea.

Yoon Eun Hye - Birthdate: October 3, 1984. She is a South Korean actress, singer, and model. She debuted as a member of the popular girl group Baby V.O.X, staying with the group from 1999 - 2005. She has since moved on to acting, receiving popularity and fame from her role as a crown princess on the drama Princess Hours, also known as “Goong”, as well as her role as the main protagonist in the highly successful drama, The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. In addition to her acting and singing, Yoon Eun-Hye graduated from Kyung Hee Cyber University in February 2007, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Tourism Management.

Kim Tae Hee - Birthdate: March 29, 1980. She is a South Korean actress from Ulsan. Kim, who received a bachelor degree in fashion designing at the Seoul National University, rose to stardom via her portrayal of the evil stepsister in the popular SBS TV series Stairway to Heaven. Her recent TV projects include the supernatural KBS series Forbidden Love and the SBS campus romance Love Story in Harvard. Both series were successful. For her performance in Forbidden Love, Kim was honored with the Best Female Newcomer award. Her younger brother is Lee Wan, who is quietly making a name for himself as well in the entertainment industry. She is especially famous for her stunning beauty accompanied with exceptional academic excellence, as proven by her national college entrance exam score in which she ranked within top 1% and led her to acceptance into Seoul National University, the most prestigious university in South Korea.

Sunye - Birthdate: August 12, 1989. She is a member of the group Wonder Girls. She graduated from Seoul Yeh High School. Her specialties are Vocal, Choreography, Poppin, Street, and Chinese.

Boa - Birthdate: November 5, 1986. Boa Kwon is a multilingual, Korean singer, commonly known by her stage name BoA, and the letters of her first name have been backronymed to Beat of Angel by her fans. She has been active in both South Korea and Japan. Aside from Korean, BoA also speaks Japanese and conversational English. She has also released a number of Chinese songs, although she is not able to speak the language itself. She is also planning to release an English Album in the American Market sometime in the future.

Yoobin - Birthdate: October 4, 1988. She is a member of the group Wondergirls. She’s from Los Angeles, California. YooBin was supposed to be debut with Good Ent. girls but instead got chosen by JYP after she displayed her skills in rapping. She’s very alike fellow member Ye Eun, she loves food and sleep.

Yoona - Birthdate: May 30, 1990. She is a member of the group Girls Generation. Yoona was casted by SM entertainment in 2002. Debuted as a singer in 2007, the first album of girls’ generation. Yoona participated in several music videos, DBSK’s , Super Junior’s . It has been reported that she would act as a main character in KBS drama.

Chae Yeon - Birthdate: December 10, 1978. Real Name - Lee Jin Suk. Chae Yeon first appeared in the entertainment world in Japan under the name of “Jinny” in 2000. Having passed an audition held by an entertainment management company in Japan, Chae Yeon first appeared on a popular show called “Uchan Nanchan no Urinari!” on Japanese NTV. She appeared on the show for almost 3 years. Along with the television show, Chae Yeon(then Jinny) performed as a singer releasing 3 singles and 1 mini-album in Japan. It was in 2003 that she returned to Korea with her first official album “It’s My Time" under her the name Chae Yeon. Her debut as a singer in Korea stirred up the entertainment world for the provocative scenes included in the music video of her title song “Dangerous Presentation” However, approaching the audience with sexy and erotic image and music was successful. Chae Yeon continued to appeal to pop music lovers with her sensual appearance and voice in her second official album released in 2005. Catchy melodies and upbeat rhythms of the song “Just the Two of Us” included in her second album gained raging popularity putting the song on top of local music charts.
