It's just music in a language very few speak! Somebody is going to get killed the way the crazy fans are acting. For all you normal people who still have a soul I feel very sorry.

Because they are very territorial. The funny part is the most toxic of fans are actually International fans.

I am guessing that you've read the comments section of Youtube or browsed through Twitter?

    This guy is kinda funny.

    I chuckled.

The bit about reading fan fics that you think are totally normal and then seeing someone's WTF reaction was hilarious.

Obsessive fans/overprotective fans are like lions... They don't like it when other's tread on what they mark as their territory. You will be ripped apart if you do. XD

I think people don't like when "outsiders" make uninformed or unnecessary critical comments about something that they themselves know so well and that means so much to them, but because we live in the age of social media everyone has an opinion on everything and everyone feels the need to express it. People are also pretty sensitive to what other people think, because attention means everything today, so they easily get upset and offended when "outsiders" comment on something they have no knowledge of or judges for no reason.

Yes! It seriously makes me want to quit listening to Kpop. I don't have a Kpop profile picture on any other website because I don't want to be associated with it. Too many of the fans are an embarrassment. I don't think I'll ever tell anyone in real life about Kpop anymore

That's why I avoid the comments section like a plaque.
Its like anything though. You'll always get the crazies who make everyone else look bad. The vast majority of K Pop fans are decent people. But even if you don't want to associate with the fandoms, there's nothing to stop you from enjoying the music that the groups bring out. That's what matters the most! :D
