we all know exo is probably going to repackage the war like they've done with literally every single on of their albums post growl era.
did sm know that snsd's comeback would do as badly as it did?
if yes then sm is probably going to repackage the album with better title tracks
if no then sm probably canceled majority of their promotional activities last minute to figure out what the hell to do now....
but will SM repackage snsd's album?

I hope they do, cause for a 10th anniversary this was kind of underwhelming

Why would them? If they flopped a repackage is not going to help. Repackages are done when an album does great, that's why EXO always has repackaged albums

I mean I'm pretty sure SM thought Holiday and All Night were good but the charts say otherwise, so I can't see a repackage doing any better chart wise and that was the major blunder.

I hope not, I rather have a another Japanese album to be honest its been a long time.

SM doesnt know what the hell there doing they misspelled the members names on the album and they messed up the stocking of the album in stores. Literally everything SM did was a mess

They literally just half assed this whole thing did it last minute, so I doubt they know what the hell there doing.

From what I heard, apparently one of the members (Sooyooung?) already confirmed a repack so they'll get one. Also, SM usually gives all their artists a repack when they release a full album no matter how good or bad their songs do so I would be more surprised if they didn't get one.

they'd better. either that, a tour, or a japanese album. this was such an underwhelming comeback for snsd's 10th anniversary

I'd hope so... this anniversary needs something more to it, something to make it at least somewhat special. I feel so bad for the girls.

Nah, sometimes repackages do better than the original. For example, exo's Wolf didn't do that hot on the charts. But growl, the repackage of wolf, did spectacularly.

Sm's probably hoping to pull and exo with snsd.

Repackage usually do worse than the main comeback. If the main comeback did badly, it will be even more difficult to do well in repackage. SM cancelled SNSD promotions now to save them from hurting their image. Making them have a repackage could hurt them even more, honestly.

Repack or not, I just want to see them promote as a group. It would be nice if they did well, but if they don't well then that's that.

Alone 17 album is a mini album

    Love Letter is full album

    Love letter 2 is repackage.

Basically releasing a full album, then if the albumis successful they put coupleof new songs init, put a new title song and sell it again as repackage.

    Girl's Generation (2007) + Baby Baby (2008)
    Ohh + RDR
    The Boys + Mr Taxi

It would be already planned before the release of this comeback, even EXO's repacks were pre-planned

    That's why I said "usually" :)

More times than not, SM release a repack for full albums. But of course there are some exceptions and we won't know unless they actually tell us the reason. But considering how normal it is for SM to release a repack, I will be surprised if they don't release one for SNSD. Especially after one of the members (apparently) said they will.
