Twice sales are Monster huge omg...
....MAMAMOO 3rd proud of my girls....
Laboum at #6
wow, mamamoo doing better than red velvet, that's a shocker considering SM stans are album hoarders.
how did Laboum get before Gfriend?
sponsors,sajaegi or what?
cause Gfriend were once even rivals of Twice and Rv
twice are monsters! congrats!
as expected from the nation girl group
Amazing that's quite a large difference, congrats to twice . Still very amazed with Mamamoo's numbers tho congrats
Gfriend's album sales probably suffered because their song was quite negatively viewed
A mixture of things.
Solbin's become a bit of an it girl, and Soyeon was on Girl Spirit. They've been doing promo work.
Meanwhile Gfriend released a more mature album which isolated their fans that like the cuter concepts.
Plus, fun fact. Digital and Streaming filter out international users for charting purposes. But online stores buy their stock from Korean distributors, which means their physical sales count towards Gaon and Hanteo. This helps Laboum more than it helps Gfriend.
Is SNSD on the list?
Twice is more than triple the next group...wow. They are quickly becoming legends under everyone's nose.
I think you forgot the deal between LABOUM and their sponsor to boost their sales...
That's not even a thing.
Go back to your room.
Are you sure? It was confirmed by their company...
I'm not judging if it was bad or good (it was a pretty smart strategy tho) but that's the reason for their sales numbers
They're promo copies!
Enough of your dirty double entendre's.
“In February, LABOUM signed a two-year contract as models of a franchise. The franchise has more than 500 locations in Korea and also has locations in Southeast Asia. The advertiser for the franchise purchased albums fairly through the distributor to use for promotional events at locations in both Korea and foreign countries.”
Those aren't promo copies, are normal copies... but whatever makes you happy
Shame that the list doesn't include Taeyeon's My Voice. Because she sold 87,000 copies on Hanteo in the first week
Naw it's the 2017 list, not the 2012 one
Taeyeon's My Voice sold 87,000 copies in its first week on Hanteo. So expect to see SNSD on the list next month.
