Elderly widow learning how to write dedicates a heartfelt letter to her late husband

A handwritten letter by an elderly woman is receiving a lot of attention.

The letter was introduced to an online community board under the title,�'Your children are all married now,' and features the story of a widow who learned how to write, dedicating the message to her late husband.


According to netizens, the�76-year old elderly woman decided to write the letter to her husband who left her side 20 years ago, after recently learning how to write in Hangul in language school. �


The letter read, "To my loving husband, it has been 20 years already. �I thought my world was crashing down when I lost you in the accident. "


She continued, "Once our children were fast asleep, I would cry every night just thinking about you. �I couldn't help but think how I was going to raise these kids all on my own," and expressed her troubles.


Furthermore, "(Though it was hard) I managed to come all this way after working hard to feed the children." �She then added, "Dear, your children are all married now. �Just tell me once that I did well," in a cute expression.


In closing, the elderly woman wrote, "I miss you a lot today," causing readers to feel sorrow.


Netizens commented, "This is such a sad letter," "I miss my mom. I should give her a call on my way home," "You did well."�
