A victim of domestic violence is gaining sympathy and causing anger among netizens. 

A recent post in a popular online community tells a story of a violent boyfriend who tried to kill his girlfriend while getting angry over a trivial thing -- downloading a movie. 

The victim wrote, "I have been dating my boyfriend for 7 months, and whenever he is drunk, he hits me...It was my mistake for letting it slide whenever he apologized the following day. However, today, this incident happened...." 

According to the victim's post, the boyfriend came over to her place after drinking. While they were trying to download a movie on her laptop so they could watch a movie together, the boyfriend broke the laptop because he was annoyed by how slowly 0the movie was downloading. When the victim started to cry because she was shocked, instead of comforting her, he stated, "I don't like that you're crying," and hit her in the face.

She continues to write that her boyfriend said to her, "I will feel better when I kill you," and went to the kitchen and brought back a knife. The victim tried to defend herself but ended up getting stabbed in the arm. 

According to the post, the boyfriend did nothing to help her while she was bleeding. It was only after she calmed him down that she could go to a hospital to receive medical treatment. The victim wrote, "I am scared to see him again, and want to move somewhere else. I want to report him for assault but I have no evidence because it happened inside of my home. Please help me." 

She uploaded the following photos as a proof of the attack.
