A medical malpractice victim is asking for help online, and her story is making many netizens feel angry and sympathetic.

The victim recently uploaded her struggles and photos of her face that has been ruined by a plastic surgery that went wrong. The post has gone viral, being shared and spread in many major online community websites in Korea.

She wrote, "...It was at a large university hospital. It's one of those dentistry school hospitals that you can see on TV programs. I was operated on by a professor...The surgery took 10 hours, and I was hospitalized for 45 days. I cannot tell you anything else..."

She explains that because of certain legal limitations, she cannot legally reveal the name of the hospital, suggesting that the institution probably threatened to sue her if she tries to make them look bad.

It is clear from her post that the surgery was for a medical purpose, not for purely cosmetic reasons, which is why more people are feeling sorry for her.

Here are some of the netizen comments:

"Omg, I am scared to do this now"

"Oh...How can this happen at a university hospital..."

"Omg what can she do..."

"Is it near Daegu area? I saw someone picket in front of the hospital there..."

"Yes, I saw it too..."

There seem to be a lot of facts missing from this story... but it kind of seems like that before she had just a regular face with everything functioning normally, and now a number of key organs have failed (such as the eyes) and half of her face has paralyzed? I have no idea.. Also... what doesn't make sense to me is that she can't publicly discuss the hospital's malpractice. It's not like she's defaming them or anything, as it's their own fault for botching up the surgery. What are those legal limitations she mentioned? Some kind of settlement or something? If they included that she wasn't allowed to talk about this then I have a hard time believing such a settlement is legally binding as the problems have obviously not been resolved.

I'm staring at these pictures but can't figure out what has gone wrong. Which pictures are "before" and which are "after"? And AKP isn't even providing an explanation. Thanks for nothing.

That's what you get. Ok the jaw could've been medical but the double eyelids definitely not no sympathy for you

What? You have no sympathy for someone who felt so so bad about their looks that they got PS, is that it? Have you ever heard of the word empathy? Because that's exactly what you're lacking here. You should be ashamed, don't talk about sympathy when you clearly don't know what that is since you're too ignorant for such things

Did you even read the article? It was an university doctor, for fuck's sake. You don't know the whole story, you're just making assumptions about things you don't know. Great to hear you have so much self-esteem. Sadly, not everyone is like that. A lot of people suffer their whole lives because of that. If you can't feel any empathy for other people's pain don't talk about sympathy, you don't know what it is. Who are you to say another person's reasons are stupid? Mind your own fucking business
